Pellegrini to Betis

With Husillos. Should be interesting to see how the pair get on. I hope they take Roberto off our hands.

You’re obsessed.
I’m not defending him. I’m asking how you can start a thread giving credit to someone who has delivered less than someone you then call ‘atrocious’.

Really strange this little crusade that goose appears to be on defending Pellegrini.
The guy was a senile old fraud who we should have left to rot in China. In fact if he left him there I’m sure Covid would have dealt with him sharpish.

Camel if he was atrocious what does that make Moyes? You really are blind.

Funny that no-one was saying this a year ago. We’d just finished 10th (?) and were talking about pushing for Europe.

Good manager, Peckham?
He was atrocious.
Spunked all that money on dross such as Anderson, Yarm and Wiltshire. Even Fornals looks a dodgy buy.
He got rid of our ‘legs’ in midfield ... for Wiltshire and Sanchez. Both of whom have been abysmal failures.
He was a fossil, as Crassus points out, well out of step with the rigours of premiership SOCCER (like that word, winds people up).

"Are the pornos paying Alves to take him?"
Read somewhere we're paying 80% of his wages.

I don't speak Spanish.
But on Betis' news Twitter I do understand "Nooooooooooooo!"

Peckham He may have been a good manager at some point, but he went to the retirement pension fund in China - says it all He was a decade out of step at our place and did not give a shit as he had hit a secondary pension fund top up Betis are a big club, with a solid passionate support, he will fail there

Good Manager, more understated and unappreciated than he deserves. Had more integrity than GSB by a country mile and has picked up a few more trophies than Moyes ( he will get the OAP dead cod eyes look each month managing under GSB ) , probably more trophies than the Walrus. He has left every club with a good reputation, and respected by the worlds best coaches. Man City to lose his job to Pep, is hardly failing. Has any Manager in 10 years had a majority of us chuffed with attacking football and cup runs with this cunt of a board. He was loyal to a keeper he signed, probably like us thinking he can´t fuck up again. Martin may have done a lot worse and shattered his ropy career. There are plenty of dead men walking pensioners still nicking a career managing top flight clubs. One day when the running of the circus and mismanagement of WHUFC London is clear to all and non disclosure means fuck all, that people may have had more empathy for both Slav and MP. Moyes. Twice it is fucking mental.

Yeah, he’s ok on paper assuming he never has to play
The problem starts when he is the only option left
Then he’s fucking shit

David Martin ain’t a bad 3rd choice keeper to be honest.

I've been watching Oxford v Portsmouth this evening. What a load of old shite Oxford are. Pellegrini should have been sacked after a 4-0 thrashing there last September. Roberto was in goal but the whole team were a fucking disgrace that night. The Chilean is an utter fraud.

Given he had his man Carlos Sanchez would Pellegrini have signed Soucek? And you know there isn’t a chance in hell he would have been interested in an English player from Hull like Bowen.

Roberto will be his legacy. Pity as I liked the fact he wanted to change the style the team played. Still think he would have had more points than Moyes has now. Ultimately you need much better players to play that way he wanted to. He'll probably do ok there as his football will be more suited to football in Spain.

My mates at Benfica reckon Roberto was actually investigated for match-fixing, he was so bad.
Only a senile old fraud would sign him.
