AFC (or whatever) West Ham.......
.......would immediately have as many fans as Bournemouth.
Just a thought?

Surely there are some wealthy Hammers & or ex players who can make this happen?

The time has come!

West Ham Utd as we knew it has been killed off by GSB and quite frankly it's fucking shit, depressing and pointless now!

Comma
But that's always the case. Every generation sees a different WH. I started going occasionally in the 60's and became more of a fan in 70's. Of course all the Bobby Moore's, Clyde Best, Geoff Hursts and Trevor Brookings have long gone. So have the managers.

My best time was during Harry Redknapp's reign when we had Terry Brown as owner and he was hardly an inspirational owner was he?

It really is weird how we loyally attach ourselves to a name and support it through all changes. Unfortunately, being WH those changes are 2 steps forward then 3 back ....

Re: AFC (or whatever) West Ham.......
It may exist but there's isn't anything to get excited about or be proud of anymore! It's pointless.
The ONLY reason to move was for progress and there's been NONE at all. We are just as shit but with no identity and a shit rented unsuitable stadium where we are regularly beaten. Going to a game has become akin to visiting Primark and the premier League is Westfield shopping mall.
Stay up, go down, who cares as it makes no difference.
We'll still have the same cunt owners and manager and nothing will ever change bar the odd false dawn.

Couldn't give a fuck if we win or not or stay up or not anymore, it's fucking shit and so is the plastic Premier league.

Would rather watch another club called West Ham playing in claret & blue with real fans in a non league ground!
Something to get excited about and feel proud of again.

Re: AFC (or whatever) West Ham.......
The West Ham I knew, grew up with, and supported for more than a generation ceased to exist years ago. The club, in common with most others sold out to mammon, in the shape of the Murdoch money. For me whatever the current owners do their modus operandi, and they’re not the only ones, is enabled because of the way the EPL is set up.

It's not for me. Unless the Club ceased to exist (like Wimbledon) I don't see how you can change. I appreciate what people will say about the owners and the move etc, but it's still the same Club.

Vicky it barely exists,GSB have all but extinguished the flame. We have to keep it flickering so there is something left to build on when new owners come in.

I think they did mate.remember thousands of them wearing green scarves or something.i will try and have a beer with my mate and sound him out.Even if we fail to get rid of GSB(And I don't think we will fail)they wont be around much longer anyway.

“West Ham United doesn't still exist though does it”

Well it does.

It ain’t like the club have gone out of business or moved to Milton Keynes.

Re: AFC (or whatever) West Ham.......
But did Man U have the same level of discontent amongst their fans than we have? The numbers on the last protest march suggests to me that if the spirit of West Ham is quickly recreatedwe could have a far higher and more sustainable fan base than FCUM and therefore not need to stop at level 6 or 7.

The only reason AFC Wimbledon stopped where they did is because their historic fanbase wasn't big enough to take them any further.

Re: AFC (or whatever) West Ham.......
ive a mate ,fanatical Man u fan stopped going Man u and very instrumental in formation of FC United of Manchester.Check their website out.they have done great, have their own ground, get gopod gates.-BUT,dont any of you think that a new club would shoot through all the leagues cos they havnt-and their gates have I think gone down from what they were.

West Ham United doesn't still exist though does it. It has morphed into something quite different, something that a hell of a lot of fans don't recognise or connect with.

I don't see how starting a new club could ever equate to anyone as gaining West Ham United back, so long as West Ham United still exists?

Anyone supporting Billericay needs to give their head a wobble seeing as they are run by a crook.

And isn’t miscreant Swallow involved with Grays in some capacity?

Good on you - it's what every fan should want, them three gone.

Their shear and utter greed has destroyed the club.

Even if you got 500-1000 at grassroots then that is huge.

Re: AFC (or whatever) West Ham.......
spoke to a lot of mates about this before we formed Hammers United and frankly was disappointed. Most just said they might as well go and watch Hornchurch,Grays,Billeracay etc and weren't interested.I remain confident we will be rid of GSB sooner rather than later and then can rebuild our club to what it was.

Re: AFC (or whatever) West Ham.......
On the last thread there was all sorts of people involved in grassroots that offered to help. You need to galvanise them and organise them.
