Arthur’s face when he was about to come on and Moyes was giving him some instructions was priceless - clearly in one ear and out the other.

On reflection... Seems our midfield were able to nullify their mega stars...Fernandes...Pogba...Matic... Resorted to dirty tricks and fouling... especially Matic Fernandes... Well done Rice Soucek Noble Bowen Fornals...

Noble is getting in the face of a player at the end of that twitter link. I hope it is Matic, who is a thug and a disgrace.

Bowen 50/50 for Sunday due to Matics skullduggery. Hit on the leg at the same point twice.

Matic seemed to manage about 4 fouls in as many minutes. Not even a talking to.

Bowen gave Williams their left back a torrid time. He just could not stop him for speed and strength. Bowen is so direct and quick. He needs to learn the art of going down like all his contemporaries do ( Zaha, Willian etc) because he will not get protection by being honest as we have seen. Sad state of the modern game. Once players know they will likely incur a free kick for coughing near you or the slightest of touches they tend to back off.
Matic and Fernandes got away with stuff a West Ham player simply wouldnt even if we were at home. Refs even without a crowd have unconscious bias, its human nature.

Definitely noticed them kicking bowen constantly, seems to be a theme, alonso for chrlsea and tarkoeski both very lucky not to be sent off for awful challenges on bowen

Funny, that, the criticism I've seen of Noble on here has mostly been constructive - in stark contrast to his oddball fan boys who laughably deem him to be the embodiment of perfection.

Cheers JohnSON.
West Ham fans are odd when it comes to Nobes. I thought it was just a few retards on here but the FB page is horrific.

I think Neville was joking about, he said it in a light hearted way as they mentioned Noble was playing in the number 10 role.
Dunno why it's got people so wound up, seems West Ham fans are the people who dislike Noble the most for some reason.
Must be jealousy.

Finally get a decent midfield pairing in Rice and Soucek but we will only see them together for 1 more game, on Sunday, before Rice's transfer to Chelsea. Pity, but we have always sold our best players and it's not going to change now I'm afraid

Not sure if it's something that Soucek has brought to Rice's game but it's great to see the two of them pointing fingers and communicating to those around them. Last week just before his flying header Soucek gesticulated to someone to cover for him as he went forward and last night I saw both he and Rice organising players with words and actions. Great to see, something that has been missing for too long. If Rice goes Soucek would make a good long term Captain.

The leniency to Matic in particular was laughable. All you ask from refs is consistency but apart from being consistently shit this lot fail.
Even the VAR twonks seemed desperate to find ANY reason to overturn our pen. VAR SHOULD have told the ref (if he didn’t know) that Pogba was trying to deceive him and should have been sent off

There were large periods during the game when, if all you had was the commentator, you wouldn't have known who Man Utd were playing against. I know we laugh about it, but this 'behaviour' is rampant in so many aspects of this country's existence now, and you wonder what we will have to do to get sanity back, in the face of so many millions of brainwashed morons...
The words that spring to mind from my view of the game are WORK RATE - we all worked so very hard, even Haller was 'running for the bus' when we lost possession. You felt a real unity in the team which was good to see. Rice was phenomenal and I hope and pray we can keep him for at least a season of two, he has married up with Soucek superbly.
Sad to see (but pleased they found it necessary) that Utd lost the plot in the second half and started to take players out with little or no intervention from the officials. Fernandes should have gone, if we had made a move like he did on Nobes we'd be down to 10 men dead quick, but aside from that he was one of several who took to stamping, kicking and (their new 'invention') stepping back 'inadvertently' into players Achilles etc. Some of the challenges on Bowen were particularly x-rated, yet a blind eye was turned...
We need players who will rise to the challenge when these top sides get arsey - that tends not to include the South American / wine culture players. And there you have your 'sell' list...
