I didn't say it was a fact. But not buying a left back suggests we don't want one does it not?

Is that a bit difficult for you Rodent son?

So it's not a fact then.

Thanks for clearing that up.

It's simple deduction. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it. Possibly.

Most deals are done in instalments. We're probably getting the dough from the players we sold in instalments. To insist on up front payment is chancing their arm a bit.

It's a fact is it. Ok.

I would have thought that the fact we're not buying a left back and have prioritised a right back would tell you that no?

Weekend timetable:

Sunday 4th
Leicester go berserk again, and Vardy gets another hat trick.

Monday 5th
Despite being linked with 45 centre backs, West Ham fail to find one by 11pm.
At 11:01 pm,someone points out to Dildo One that we can still get one in by 11th October from the EFL or below.
Sullivan sends out a message to his 'scouts': Check out the National League to see if a freebie is available.

£25m or even £30m up front is decent business for Milenkovic. We really are cheap cunts if we aren't willing to pay that money.

I'm saying, are you sure Moyes thinks that Masuaku and Cresswell are adequate?

I don't believe that for a minute. He is seriously incompetent if he doesn't address the left back / left wing back positions.

Cresswell just hasn't got it in his locker to play full back or wing back. And Masuaku is a 1 in 10 player.

Re: Transfer window rumours and discussion
Sounds like Fiorentina are attempting to take the piss a bit. However our reputation of not paying instalments was probably to blame for that.

David Moyesmovic might fill in there once he is over the sniffles

Re: Transfer window rumours and discussion
Difference was Fiorentina wanted 25m UPFRONT (not in 32 payments over the next 10 years) and a further 10m in Add-Ons.

Our offer of 20m probably spread in payments we'll default on from now until the end of days didn't tickle their fancy.

Milenkovic, Maksimović, Mykalenko. Getting confusing.

It's a real shame this COVID wasn't around when we were sniffing around James MADDISON and MOYES turned him down because he hadn't seen enough of him.

"I'm not seeing the appeal in Zinchenko"

Me neither.

Sullivan said on Talksport that Fiorentina wanted too much for Milenkovic, even though it's less than we reportedly bid for Tarkowski

I repeat: MOYES seems to think they're adequate.

Masuaku and Cresswell are adequate?!?!

Are you sure mate?

Re: Transfer window rumours and discussion
I'm not seeing the appeal in Zinchenko. Almost every city move that gets to him breaks down. Thats with world class players everywhere to aim at. What's he going to do with our bunch of shitters 'helping' him out?

No that we seem to be in for a left back now, Moyes seems to have settled on wingbacks and thinks Cresswell and Masuaku are adequate. Right back became the priority when Fredericks broke down with Johnson's injury history not being the best.

Re: Transfer window rumours and discussion
Sadly Glenn, Milenkovic has been confirmed 'off the table'.

I wonder if while he's been in isolation, Moyes has basically (given our lack of scouting acumen or facilities) been scouring Whoscored and Youtube, and coming up with this list of centre backs we're now seemingly being linked too.

Irvine has suggested he's been able to 'focus on recruitment' so suspect that might be the case (even if maybe he has a slightly more sophisticated system than those two websites).

Re: Transfer window rumours and discussion
On the basis we somehow manage to keep Rice. Then if we could secure that Czech right back Coufal, a commanding centre back and a left back, then I'd say that would be just enough to scrape through this season.

Coufal £4m
Milenkovic £20m +
and possibly Zinchenko on loan

then for me, that would be really decent business in this window.
