She knew what she was doing, she'd have to have lived under a fucking rock to not know what ISIS were about

The irony there Block is that is exactly what she'd end up doing upon arrival in Shitsville.

'New' headline by the Daily Mail
"Priti Patel vows 'fundamental reform' of Britain's asylum system"
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8979911/Priti-Patel-vows-reform-asylum-law-tackling-deportation-delays.html

For those thinking, "haven't we seen that headline before?", yes, every other month she's seeded the story for the 'left' to get up in arms about and those on the 'right' satisfied their fifth columnist Priti will come good on her single promise to combat illegal immigration.

I think she needs a new PR team.
They have only 1 trick it seems:
Announcing that she's planning to do something dynamic and robust every other month.
Eventually even the most committed Priti Pathetic fanciers will expect some kind of action rather than meaningless lip service paid to maintaining the single promise she made when getting the role.

The question to puzzle over is simple and answered by the consistent refusal of any prior and present government to tackle it in itself.
If the government can, without justification, enforce home confinement overnight nationwide, have a police response unit turn up to your house for fielding 6+ guests or daring to open up a gym and send your ailing nans to isolation to die without care but fail to do anything to tackle illegal migration [with an 80 seat majority], it is simply because they don't want to.

"our safety" comes way down the list of priorities when there could be a Nobel Peace Prize available for this sort of thing.

I suspect the truth is that this Shamima Begum (and her friends) was an impressionable adolescent who got influenced by a bunch of extremist wrong uns and did something very stupid. Probably nothing more complicated than that, plus backstory.

This I find funny. She was what 15/16 when she went to fight for Isis, the same age which many, many people wish to voting age to be lowered too.

She knew what she was doing, she'd have to have lived under a fucking rock to not know what ISIS were about before she left to fight for them. At that age you're more than capable of making such a decision. The cunt should be left where she is for our safety.

Come on, Goldie, even you shouldn't go comparing Americans of Irish descent with British of Bangladeshi descent. Two very different contexts and cultures.

It's highly unlikely that a teenaged Bangladeshi girl in Bangladesh would go off to fight for IS of her own accord.

Of course she is a Bangladeshi import 2nd or 3rd generation [haven't checked] and it's well known that 3rd generation immigrant offspring tend to display the greater resentment to their host nations, as they feel like they don't fit in like they would back home.

Most European ex pats have that sense of loss of kinship and romanticise the notion of the old country to insane levels [see irish ex pats in America], however they tend not to trash their host nations in response to this sense of loss by agitating for their adopted country to become another war torn Botswana to make them feel more at home.
That would be stupid and irresponsible.

Luckily they found a mug in globalist Britain where the locals have to bend to their uncompromising guests' will and Britain has become a parallel balkanised society with all kinds of competing/warring ethnicities extremely hostile to each other and their hosts sharing the same living space with hilarious results!

Goldie

But she's not a Bangladesh export, is she? Her parents, maybe, but not her. She's the product of a messed up East (?) London culture.

She stopped being Britain's problem, the second she boarded the plane to join ISIS, we should not be wasting a single penny in legal fees. She made her bed, now she can lie in it.

A Bangladeshi export that has been allowed to become Britain's problem for some inexplicable reason.

The solution is simple, and it doesn't revolve around paying millions in solicitors fees to some human rights ambulance chasers.

She's not. As comma said, she's a home-grown problem.

Re: Shamima Begum
Shamima Begum is our mess to clear up, nobody else’s.

She was absolutely made in the UK. There are international laws and conventions, which the UK has supported and championed over the years, which are in place to deal with the present situation.

She needs to be brought back to the UK and put through due process as any other UK citizen would.

Unlike people born and brought up in the antipodes or Africa, who have had a sporting proclivity nurtured outside of the UK, making a choice to become “British” Begum is our pigeon. The politicians need to stop grandstanding to the rednecks and let the process begin.

1. It's WHO. If we weren't massive wankers none of us would post on here

2. You clearly believe that I've "swerved". I'm presuming that's 'confirmation bias' working. Either way the fact you're so angry at something I haven't actually said or done is quality. Take a deep breath and count to ten... There does that feel better now?
