2019 - 2020 prem flops
We all know that Anderson takes that honour for us but he's not alone.

Arsenal - Nicolas Pepe cost £72 million has been a massive disappointment. 8 goals in 40 a paltry return for such money.

Brighton - Alireza Jahanbakhsh. Record signing at 17 mill who went on to make just 3 appearances this season.

Chelsea - £72 million but his only consistency has been the gaffes he's made. Makes Roberto look good.

Crystal Palace - Max Meyer. Was a freebie but given a 3-year contract worth £80,000 per week. Was a bit-part player throughout the season and scored a whopping zero goals. Not great for an attacking midfielder.

Everton - Fabian Delph. Signed for £8.5 million + £10 million add ons he's hardly kicked a ball.

Man Utd - David De Gea. Given a 4-year contract worth £78 million his fingers have been more buttery than an Utterly Butterly factory explosion.

Newcastle - Joelinton. A Brazillian striker that the barcodes broke their transfer record and splurged £40 million on + 70k per week wages. He's contributed a total of 2 league goals. He makes Hugill seem like an excellent bit of business.

Tottenham - Tanguay Ndombele. Another record signing at £55 million. On a 5-year contract at 52K per week. Has made as much impact as a wet paper dart.

Wolves - Patrick Cutrone. Loaned from AC Milan and paid £63k a week Will be dropped off at an airport with a Return to Sender label on his forehead.

Nice to know that other clubs sometimes spend a fortune on shit.

Rossal you could add a few more to that Everton list
Bolasie £25M
Gbanin £25M
Schneiderlin £24M
Niasse £13.5M

And I don’t think £75M on Pickford and Sigurdson was good business

That’s another £160M+

RE Anderson, I'd wager he got on better with Pellegrini than the Scotch grafter Moyes. He's probably one of THOSE players who needs a cuddle. Been pointed out many times "we" knew this from his days at Lazio. Can't see them ever seeing eye to eye.

I'm infuriated as the next man, but still think Anderson could be good. Both he and FORNALS strike me as possibly better more central. But whether we can indulge that possible bit-part on his wages, I doubt.

* He was shit under Pellegrini first half of season as well, though, I know.

Not a surprise that most bar Delph and Drinkwater are from abroad and many will go back and do really well in maybe a slower paced League.

Isn't Kean very young though? 20? Could well be the next Balotelli but he may just need time. I haven't seen him even in highlights though, I admit.

Everton are like us: always buy SOME dogshit. But I thought they'd got it wrong with Richarlison. They didn't, really. He keeps scoring. And he's still young, too.

same with Balbuena actually, thought him and Diop were a good pair but he has been utter gash this season.

Gutted about Anderson's tail spin. Really the only player we had to get you of your seat. Been shocking this year inexplicably.

For serial flopping now, Danny Drinkwater. I admit used to think he was pretty good at Leicester but then nothing at Chelsea and barely got a game on loan at Burnley or even Villa this season. Two loans, two packets of fuck all. Chinned someone in training as well. Was it at both clubs? Appears to be rehearsing a role as a new antihero, The Invisible Cunt.

Still, all good news as the that £40m (?) Chelsea spent keeps him there for a few more years. Until West Ham bid, of course.

It is nice to know, but the way some carry on around these parts, you’d think it was a problem exclusive to clubs owned by porn barons.

I’ve forgotten more shit players we’ve signed than decent ones over the years.

72 mil for Pepe looks like madness. Even more odd as they have youngsters like Saka, Nketia, Martinelli and Maitland-Niles coming through in forward positions.

Haller is our Joelinton.

Gedson Fernandes has another season on loan at Spurs.
Cutrone was sent on an 18 month loan to Italy in January.... still managed to score against us before he went though.

Wesley from villa was a big money striker who even before injury was absolutely awful.

Gedson fernandes is got to be up there too
We was heavily linked with him, went to Spurs and pretty much sinked away into oblivion
