Starts Monday ! ..the corona chaos means no spectators, and no mixed doubles. Several players have withdrawn, including both of last years champions. An ideal chance though, for a new name to make a final. Some of the seed numbers ;
2. Thiem - no Federer or Nadal gives Thiem a run from the very bottom of the draw.
6. Berrettini - Made the semi final last year, the Italian is now established in the top 10 with the likes of Zverev.
10. Rublev - one of several good Russians, Rublev is still only 22 and can do well.
23. Dan Evans - top 24 seeding, so the Brit cant meet the top 8 until round four,
...and the women ;
1. Pliskova - both Halep and Barty have withdrawn, giving Pliskova a great draw
9. Konta - got to Western Open semis this week. has drawn the only other British girl in round one, Heather Watson
10. Muguruza - reached the Australian open final before lockdown, can do the same here
27. Jabeur - steadily improving, the Tunisian might be one of the better outsiders

Where's Gary? I would have thought he would be interested in the French Open.
I know nothing about the winners of the Women's Final but glad to hear the unlikeable Djokovic just got hammered in the Men's.

Fantastic final Glad for Thiem , Zverev will have more opportunities as the big 3 are bound to decline Over the next 3 years. Really dug in at the end, incredible stuff!
