That’s what Charlton supporters did with Duchatelet and now he’s gone.
If we have American buyers that already have proven sports credentials then that’s a massive improvement for the club.
Which owner said there’s only so much you can take. I presume Gold. If so it appears Sullivan would rather put his 84 year old business partner holding a 35% stake through the pain than settle for a few quid less.
This sell after 2023 to avoid taxes clause. A bird in the hand I’d say, sell now, niggle up the price if you can and pay the tax. The rest of the country pays tax so it’s not a penalty is it.

Last time I gave them any money was first season at new stadium. Once I realised just how much they had lied to us I haven’t put a single penny in their pocket.

It seems more and more are thinking that way and hopefully even more do.

Or you could take Brenty’s approach and sing a couple of nasty songs to them... that’ll do it

Re: why have we let this happen
This is how it works and explains why we are in this:

1) West Ham fans complain about the ownership/management

2) West Ham fans, under the delusion belief of 'supporting the team' hand over £2-£3k to said owners every year

3) West Ham owners take this cash and use it to bend over West Ham fans and rodger them senseless over and over and over.

There is only one answer. Do NOT give West Ham United a single penny of your money. Not a groat. Worst-case scenario, the club goes to the wall. Honestly, from where we are now, that feels like a promotion.

It's not West Ham anyway. Do you think this is the West Ham of the '70s or '80s? No, it's 'London West Ham Hammers', inoffensive marketing chowder for the foreign masses. They rent the local council running track and are a collection of young multi-millionaires who are in it for themselves and are quite happy for you to boost their profile as a social media influencer and accept happily that your £3000 a year is better in their pocket than yours.

To follow on from that, what other product would you buy and not be able to use?

That's exactly what is happening at the moment - fans are basically paying into what is a Ponzi in all but name. The regular annual borrowing against the following season's income should be warning enough. If other clubs do this, then they too are "running a Ponzi" and it doesn't make what our board are doing any more acceptable.

Keep your money in YOUR pocket, not theirs and pay up - if you must - when what you want becomes available again.

And don't fall for any of their marketing scare tactics about "you might not get the seat you want if you delay" bollocks. If that's the case, tell them you might very well not want to go again.

If they want to treat fans as customers, then those "customers" need to start treating the club like any normal supplier/shop and withdraw their custom until the product improves.

That’s the thing, there are so many categories of West Ham fans who would want to do their own thing, but not look at the bigger picture.

For any action to work, it’s all or nothing.

We have learned the greatest hate of GSB, having parts of the business they don’t make any money out of. They have soon got rid of these even though non profit making areas are needed for development etc of a club.

While there is an income coming in for them being shirts sales, premium charging phone lines etc, they are quite happy fleecing their ‘customers‘, sorry the fans.

To choke this off from them would make them sit up and take notice, it’s against their business model. They don’t like it and have taken action in a number of our non profit making areas already by getting rid of them.

Nothing is going to change in the short term but why line their pockets if you hate them so much?
For what they have done, how can they ever be forgiven and accepted.

Do people really want them out because if you do it’s going to need a much better plan meaning more numbers and something most if not all buy in to.

Sorry, but there just seems to be weak token gestures of resistance that want to chip away, but in truth are futile for the desired outcome.

Until you get all the West Ham fold united into a strategy, nothing’s going to work.

GSB are all about money, that’s all it’s ever been. Them buying was nothing to do with the good of West Ham United football club, it was all about pocketing half a billion pounds in future with the OS attached.

But while there is this income from the fans coming in as mentioned above, they are quite happy with their return.

That supply needs to be cut off, but can only be done if ALL are onboard.
Until then, nothing will change.

That'll be next year then - maybe even next season.

Don't forget that they will have vast amounts of data about fans and which ones to let in when that day comes.

Don't be surprised that only very few of the more vocal anti-board supporters are allowed in - and those that are will be as widely dispersed around the ground as possible.

Expect another "fans questionnaire" sometime before the restrictions are lifted. How it's answered - if it's answered at all - could determine whether you even get entered into the draw for a game ticket.

As I've said umpteen times before, the most effective
and easiest way to get at them, embarrass them and gain publicity is to chant against them at games (when we get the chance)
It's not rocket science.

Re: why have we let this happen
Whatever happens, it's got to stay on the right side of the law - even if the establishment hate the board as much as we do, they still hate football fans with several more levels of magnitude. The establishment, including the MSM, have to be kept as our enemy's enemy.

They've got fans to sit down. All they need now is for them to shut the fuck up and will take any opportunity to make that happen.

Re: why have we let this happen
The only way to affect change is to make it personal against Gold & Sullivan, make them uncomfortable and it'll change their mindset, think back to the Burnley game in 2018 and how Sullivan reacted when fans went to his home and when supporters confronted him in the car park at West Brom

I find myself getting annoyed with fans that are wearing the latest kits or renewing season tickets.

It’s within our power to get rid of them, it just needs fans to be united. Sadly we’re not.

Re: why have we let this happen
Plans are just that - things people want to happen.

I have lots of plans but many change on a daily basis because what they are built on also changes. It's called, I believe "life".

Many on here are already screaming at their screens (in their minds) that I should get one before I comment on it.

No fans in the stadium? TV money dries up as the non-UK market wants the "whole package", and that includes stadiums full of fans cheering on "their" team? Sales in the club shops plummet? Latest kit stays on the shelf?

That stadium rent don't pay itself. Neither do the players and staff.

All of a sudden their cash-cow is eyeing the abattoir as a better option, so maybe it's time for them to move into pork bellies instead.
