Apologies for the delay in replying.

The lack of interest in sponsoring the Iconic Olympic bowl off the back of a very successful 2012 Games speaks volumes.

That it's not a purpose built football stadium doesn't really matter to an armchair viewer, who gets the same view as that from the other 19 PL stadia - and it's the armchair viewer at whom all the advertising surrounding the game is aimed.

There must be something else about the stadium that deters it's close neighbours from taking advantage of both it's location and status.

The attraction is PL games every week and the global TV reach of those. For that, anywhere in England is acceptable so long as PL status is maintained.

I understand that Mike, re, global TV and ground location irrelevant, but disagree that a purpose built stadium in East London holding a record capacity, a stones throw from of one of the Worlds biggest financial areas and what London offers is the best place for any club to go next level with multi billionaire owners.

And so the Claret & Hugh (Gold's mate they are facebook friends at least) attack on Sullivan and Brady goes on. Another piece by Whetstone backed up by Hugh.

The income generated by the people who actually attend matches is a minor consideration (except for us and lower league clubs, as currently witnessed).

The game at the top level is morphing into Harlem Globetrotters on acid.

Not an attractive club to billionaires .hmm let's see how many many clubs are based in London and get 60 000 every other week despite not winning anything in 40 years . I've read some shite in my time but this takes the puss .

Re: Sullivan turns down £350m bid...
All the takeovers bids were exaggerated from the media and social media due to the unrest from the sale of Diangana.

As I said before we just aren’t an attractive club to the really rich billionaires.

All gone very quiet on the supposed interested suitors hasn’t it? There hasn’t been any actual confirmation of interest nor acknowledgement of offers... has there???

Re: Sullivan turns down £350m bid...
I think this week is another step forward into forcing them out

Sullivan seems to have 0 allies left. There is no one left to spout his bollocks. The media have virtually all turned, the whole football world can now see our side.

This pressure wont let up, ill be surprised if the club isnt up for sale by the end of the season. Cant see us improving on the pitch anytime soon either which wont help things

What is Hugh Southons link with the owners? I thought he was an ex jsports ournalist for Sullivans Daily Sport when he owned it?

Following the piece by Whetstone on Claret & Hugh distancing Gold from Sullivan & Brady earlier this week, now a piece by Hugh himself which is an outright attack on Sullivan.
https://www.claretandhugh.info/mooro-author-rips-talksport-sullivan-apart/

Hugh has until now been obviously pro-board. And I have always taken words "a reliable source" to be Gold, what is going on?

Seems the line seems to be Gold is steeped in West Ham whereas Sullivan isn't. For which I read Gold ready to sell but not so Sullivan,

Re: Sullivan turns down £350m bid...
If all the potential buyers are interested in PL TV exposure and the (advertising) money it brings, then the location of the club is irrelevant; all that matters is "can it sustain it's position in the Premier League?".

I see Burnley are now in talks with potential buyers from the states. Just pray they weren’t the ones linked with us that have decided to invest elsewhere.

After Sullivans break of silence and latest interview, what the fuck is left to say.

Pessimism could see all this takeover talk bullshit to take anger away from lack of transfers. A smoke screen.

Optimism tells me the yanks do not care about the Corona and no crowds, see the TV Money, and a club with a following to succeed.

Tripp and Gold to fuck over Sullivan somehow.

Brady resorted to kiss and tell stories and media whore, unemployable in Football again.
