Your favourite websites
Any website suggestions that aren't West Ham, porn, gambling, social media or knobwipingonscreen.net

I find myself visiting the same websites over and over (see above), so open to some new suggestions.

These days I'm big on youtube and never watch TV. Youtube is a thread on its own though.

Re: Your favourite websites
I watch YouTube channels more than I read websites. It's probably why I'm so disgustingly cheerful these days - avoiding the vast majority of politics and general apekind fuckwittery. When I'm interested in a person (biographies) or historical events or science, I read paper books about them so websites for those purposes don't interest me.

Some youtube channels I like:

Mousetrap Monday = frontiersman-type American bloke tracks down unusual or antique rodent traps and reviews their performance (using live rodents in and around his farm buildings). Sometimes he builds the traps from scratch if all he has is the patent application drawings. It's incredible what he can do with a set of tools. Really great with his hands. Fans of the channel send him their rodent trap inventions or sketches for him to build. What fascinates me the the huge variety and imagination and ingenuity of the people who designed and made these traps.

Aussie Man Reviews = foul mouthed bogan reviews...everything, really. He's a hoot.

Kyle the Rooster = nice American chap keeps chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese and guinea fowl. All pets, not for food. He goes out go feed them and talks and interacts with them. The birds interact with each other. It's like a soap opera, but very relaxing.

Peter Hyatt Statement Analysis = FBI/law enforcement expert in assessing and analysing witness statements breaks down what they say to look for clues they are lying. He uses examples from real life/famous cases and/or those currently ongoing.

I also like looking at videos of water droplets/splashes slowed down. Various makers of those videos. I find the movement of water mesmerising. I accept thos may be somewhat niche.

Nearly all mine are weather related: Weather analytics/forecasting,storm parameters, cloud coverage, clear skies etc doing my own weather forecasting everyday helps with photography.
Or astronomy/science stuff, I'm a right laugh down the pub!

The only news thing I read is https://theconversation.com/uk

Seems to be an independent source of news.

If I'm at a loose end I often rummage through wikepedia using the random page link and something that catches my attention normally pops up within a minute or two - even if it's a "Why the fuck did anybody bother putting THAT up" through?

I look a lot and Crypto currencies as they're making huge waves now and I use Quora a lot as well. But the internet is probably billions of weird and wonderful things, but my limited imagination has me going around the same old sites.

Depends what you like, other than what you've posted already.

I've been doing a fair amount of reading on things like history in certain countries, politics etc.

No, I've never kissed a girl.
