I'm getting sick of seeing this self proclaimed child poverty expert spouting off all the time lately.
Here's an idea to those in poverty he "represents". If you can't afford to feed your kids DON'T FUCKING HAVE THEM.
Rant over.

Marcus Rashford wants to help poor people feed themselves by following the recipes he got from Tom Kerridge, the recipes are in the book which is £10

Are you saying that Rashford is having social media posts put out under his name that he doesnt support? Anything in particular?
I can understand he is working with his agency in relation to things like this recipe initiative with the chef Tom Kerridge. Putting all that together by himself may be difficult given he also has a full time job kicking a ball about for Man U & England. Many celebrities dont actually post their own social media responses. Probably for the best when he got sniping from Tory MP's probably a bit embarrassed that he ran rings around the government.

No let’s be clear - you’ve made the assumption that the values of the agency are those of Rashford.

"The extent of Rashford's 'political' opinions"
...let's be clear. They are not his own opinions they are Roc Nation's. He might in agreement with them but he is just the front man:

""We don't really consider ourselves a traditional agency – we really are a movement," Michael Yormark, the president of Roc Nation Sports International and Co-CEO of Roc Nation Unified"

Lineker uses his bbc platform & fame to express all sorts of political opinions on refugees etc
The extent of Rashford's 'political' opinions is that children shouldnt go hungry in this wealthy country. Whatever you think of incompetent feckless parents (& their lack of contraception) & absent fathers I think most would support that.

"I’m sure if he was white he would get exactly the same reaction on here........."
It would be a lot worse. Look at Gary Linekar. Uses his position to push political agendas he has no accountable for in the same way Rashford does. Widely criticized for it.
With Rashford there is a subset of the population that sees his blackness as an opportunity to display their own lack of prejudice.
I see it as a class thing, "look at me, I am not resentful towards immigrants, they aren't a threat to me, I am nice and secure (see middle-class)" Doesn't matter what Rashford actually says, he could be saying, "I shagged your mum and your sister" and they would still be posting, "What's your problem? He provides a good service. Is it because he is black that you think he shouldn't shag my mum, you racist pig!"

Re: Marcus Rashford

And if you're interested in explaining your thought process on St. Rashford, maybe you could explain what you meant by:
"Just as an aside, i wonder if he'd have put this work ahead of his own interests and left Man Utd hsd they not pulled out of the ESL."
Because, if he'd had transferred to another club how would that be "putting this work ahead of his own interests".
Please don't tell me you'd gone down some pathetic virtue signalling, the ESL is bad so you can't possibly play for a club in it and want children to eat route?
In fact that's exactly where you were so don't bother answering as it'd only be lies.
