Block, isn't it in bad taste for you to be a bastion of mental heath issues on here and then use a word which is one of the acutest forms of mental health issue to abuse someone with?

Re: Woman's Team Head Coach Leaves
Clearly not a lot of planning around this as the position is being advertised on Linkedin

‘VACANCY:
We are currently looking to hire a First Team Manager to oversee our Women's team playing in the Barclays FA Women's Super League.

The successful candidate will be required to create a culture that maximises the talent of each player in all aspects of the four-corner model to optimise the quality of team performance and ensure that licence criteria are being met.

For more information on the role and how to apply, please visit our recruitment site on: https://lnkd.in/dhEVJMj’

And fir those like me who don’t know what the four corner model is

The FA 4 Corner Model suggests that player development needs to be looked at from a technical, physical, psychological and social point of view – and that no corner works in isolation from the others.

Even sensible broadcasters such as Danny Kelly are now contractually obliged to pretend to be interested in splitarse football.

One of my favourite WHO posts related to women’s football – alphaharps, in his role as Gameswanker at the London LOLympics, attended a couple of women’s football matches and came on here telling everyone that he had seen the future of football.

He disappeared shortly after posting that he was ‘hearing that Cameron won’t make it through the night’ on the election night versus MiLOLband. Another sad loss.

Its weird isn't it?
I wonder if straight women in football get hetero-phobic abuse

Same divide in cricket. A straight female friend of mine played at a state level in Australia years ago and she was very much in the minority

Sven, I liked that observation of gays in the womens and mens games. Very astute. I had a little chuckle at that.

I'm actually surprised hairy arsed Steve playing on Hackney Marshes HASN'T announced he wants to play centre forward for West Ham
So turns up at the London Stadium announcing he identifies as Stephanie demanding entry to the change room

Re: Woman's Team Head Coach Leaves
Have said on every womans football thread that its great that the game is progressing if it gets young girls active and playing sport. And it helps if they have role models to encourage that.

The game is starting to get some of their own sponsors (WOMENS PRODUCTS) but it is still financed by the mens game.
Keep improving but it needs to stand on its own feet eventually so treating it as some equivalent of the mens game or complaining that they aren't paid the same is nonsense.
Blokes kicking a ball about in the National league or West Hams u15 boys aren't either.

Amusing that it seems as difficult to find a straight womens player as it is to find a (out) gay one in the mens game

Re: Woman's Team Head Coach Leaves
I look forward to “trans women” taking over the women’s game in the near future.

Biological women will have to form a break away league or face getting their legs broken by Steve the tranny.

Re: Woman's Team Head Coach Leaves
I sense some threatened machos on this thread.

I think the women's game is fine and will get better.

It’s really interesting to read how some of the women played in top boys leagues until they approach the teens and things got difficult with the changing rooms so girls were chucked out.

Beard left because he only won one game so far this season. Quite a disappointment as we got to the FA cup final last season.

Yes more money has gone into the usual clubs making it harder. They just about bought the Lyon team that has been wining the champions league each year. Still more money going inshows it probably has a future.

I hope our women can turn it round.

Re: Woman's Team Head Coach Leaves
Having had the misfortune to catch a few minutes here and there of the ladies game, aside from the obvious comparisons with children with learning difficulties I have masterminded the perfect scheme to get any team top of the league, in the ladies game at least.

Use an actual man as goalkeeper, maybe keep it quiet if it breaks the rules.

I watched one game where the ball was casually played about between the two sides with nothing much happening until a slow misplaced pass managed to find its way in one of the sides penalty boxes and the goalie [a woman!] panicked like fuck and simply jumped out of the way.

This phenomenon has been observed in the driving habits of the female also, a woeful lack of spacial awareness, co-ordination and a tendency to react hysterically and panic at the slightest deviation of what they expect coming their way.

If you want your favoured ladies team to win the league, get a bloke in goal, the other ten players have little effect on the result otherwise as most goal action is a result of an accidental pass gone astray.

If any ladies are reading this, I will happily pretend that the ladies game is exciting and improving all the time if it helps me get a little sniff.
