Haller - Gone To Ajax

We're becoming a good side now. Relegation should'nt be a problem now, but to kick on to a solid top 10 side Moyes has to solve the problem with Haller. He doesn't do anything particularly well. Yes he'll score every now and then but as an all round prom striker - very poor indeed.
Shame, but he's not up to the job and will hold us back from progressing.

Having been through what he's going through I have some sympathy for his current situation...
However
This does not negate my feeling of the lazy cunt when he was here. He got paid several times the average annual salary every single week and could not be arsed to put effort in.
No we didn't play to his preferred style but that shouldn't have stopped him putting a shift in.

Had exactly the same personality on pitch at Ajax and Frankfurt as he did for us.. Yet fitted into their styles and has been nominated playing like that..
He wasn't lazy, it wasn't that he didn't want to be here, it's just the way he is.

He only ever gave us 50% on the pitch. We warm to the less gifted players as long as they gave their all, but this fraud was holding back.
Balloon whatever it is, couldn’t give a monkey’s.
That’s about one player, we had a better team without him.

How many more times has it got to be explained that it doesn't matter how good a player is if he's unwilling to put in a shift he becomes a liability.
It was obvious that he didn't want to be here so whoever it was that bought him didn't check his character references

Well done to everyone who said that £45m Haller was a good player. Absolute genius.
A great player - or even one who gave a shit - would be able to perform in any system. Or at least work hard and earn their money. There’s a reason why he was sold for half of what we paid.

Exactly my feelings. Good player, very poor fit for our team- like so much of the other piss poor recruiting under Pellegrini. (To be fair that regime aren’t alone in being guilty of that)
Ask a player to play a role their skill set isn’t suitable for and you’re not going to get good results. You should have brought one who plays according to your needs.

Yep I backed him, said he was a good player.. Said he didn't suit the way we played.. He's now been nominated for balloon d'or, what's your point :-)
He didn't down tools to engineer a cut price deal to those cunts either.
Or do wa all have to have the same opinion on things.. And like the same players?

Good for him, well deserved had a fantastic season.
Oh and I'm sure it wasn't the premier league, maybe just us and the way we played. He broke the goals record in the CL group stages which isn't a level below.

He clearly couldn’t are it work while with us - which is a shame. But there was something about the system or living in London or whatever that didn’t work for him. Maybe it was the pace of play in English football.

I never slagged him off. We never played to his strengths. He was phenomenal for Ajax and for those who say it is an easier league he scored four goals on his CL debut. None of this really matters though as I just wish an ex player well COYI
