Michael Apted dead

Created the documentary series 7 Up in 1964 which followed people every 7 years up to 63 Up in 2019
Will check again in 2028 to see if he is still dead.

Also directed Coal Miners Daughter, Gorillas in the mist and the Bond film The World Is Not Enough

Sorry to hear this. Saw him as recently as 2019 in a Q & A at a 63 Up screening. He was a very intelligent, engaging chap.

Gorky Park is excellent, both in book and film. The woman in it - forget her name - was stunning.

Gorky Park was another good one he did.

Read the book last year and then saw the film on Netflix.

Michael Elphick has a good small role in it.
