Team for Leeds.
Surely even our most hardened pessimists must be up for this one. The extraordinary level of positivity following a defeat was an experience that I have never witnessed before on here, and shows the progress being made by this fabulous side. However, let's not get cocky and run away with ourselves - not much chance of the dour Jock letting that happen.

So I expect an open game against Leeds and a return to a back four, with Johnson making way for Bowen. I usually advocate Benrahma over Fornals, but I have to say, the Fornicator has been very good in the last couple of games and completely deserves to keep his place. Benrahma is going to have to really impress in his sub appearances if he wants to be a regular starter. He was superb in the corresponding fixture at Elland Rd a few months ago so I expect he will feature at some point in this one. Not sure about Fabianski's injury but hopefully he'll be back.

Fabianski
Coufal Dawson Diop Cresswell
Soucek Rice
Bowen Lingard Fornals
Antonio

Same as, or benrahma for Johnson with fornals staying on the right and bowen on the bench as last week, fornals had one of his best games in a west ham shirt against city, playing on the right .

I assumed that was a windup but as its International Womens Day I assume that is the case.

I expect there will be a chap on hand for if a fuse blows though...

Same as the OP bug I’d like to see benrahma start instead of Fornals think he’s better suited at beating the press also probably had his best game at their place was probably MOM that night

According to the Evening Standard both Fabianski and Randolph doubtful, don't have much luck with keepers do we?

COYI makes a good point about Benrahma’s importance to team. In retrospect, I’m less sure about starting Bowen. He’s been pretty quiet lately. I might shift Fornals to the right and put Benrahma on the left.

I’d maybe bring Bowen on to replace Antonio when he starts to tire. I think Bowen could do with more time at striker where he doesn’t have so much defensive work to do.

I only just noticed - Faux Bare seems to have stopped coming on these threads with his team's containing Odubeko. Let's hope it stays that way for now, though I shall be only too happy if Mipo does enough at some stage to deserve being in the side.

Re: Team for Leeds.
Masuaku being out is a bonus. We've become a better team with giving him the ball and seeing it going nowhere.

If we're going to have any chance of Euro footie next year let alone CL we're going to have to win most of the games coming up. Most of the results have gone against us in the last 2 weeks but that was more than likely as they had gone for us before the city defeat. Spurs , Chelsea and Everton have momentum . Liverpool and Leicester have problems but can't keep screwing up.
I expect after this weekend we'll be 8th.
The pessimist i me says that's where we are likely to end up. But the optimist hopes the Moyes Magic carries on but lets calm tit down a bit on Top 4 for a bit.
