Played the FBI agent in Midnight Run.
One of my favourite lines in the movie was when said to Robert De Niro ( who stole and used Yaphet Kotto FBI I.D) , "Do you know its a Federal offence to impersonate a FBI agent" to which De Niro replied "Oh yeah? , how the fuck no one's after you then?"

I'm beaten in the useless trivia! RIP to the big man though, was in some good movie4s bar Bond. The Running Man, Brubaker, Thomas Crown Affair, Raid on Entebbe and thought he was brilliant as Alonzo Mosely in the fabulous Midnight Run.

Bit of useless trivia, Veronica Cartwright, who played Lambert, played Rod Taylors daughter in Hitchcock's The Birds and even Tippi Hedren is still going!
As an even bit more of useless trivia Veronica Cartwright played the mother in Flight of the Navigator. A film mostly remembered by me as the one and only time 14 year old me knocked one out over Sarah Jessica Parker

He was great in Blue Collar, a 1978 film with Harvey Keitel and Richard Pryor. Well worth checking out for those who've not seen it.
