We need to be cautious because it's Arsenal. Have Mark in the middle to help us keep possession.

Sadly I agree about Lanzini being unable cut it in the Premiership any longer. That injury ( like Ashton in training for his national side IIRC ) in 2018 just before the WC seemed to finish him unfortunately.
He shows the odd flash of what he could once do and perhaps a less physical league might give him the time and space he now seems to need? He's lost a half yard and being a lightweight he simply struggles to get into games especially when starting. Of course confidence is also a problem. Seems to try too hard at times and gives the ball away now so much.
Anyway, today is another test of how flaky or not West Ham under Moyesiah is. He has said that has been the aim to bring consistency and bounce back after defeats. So far that has proved correct. I just think we have looked jaded over the last few games? The likes of Antonio ( not 100% IMO) , Bowen even Soucek seem to be a tad below their absolute best.
Maybe the loss of Ogbonna has begun to show too and perhaps the season is now finally catching up on one of the smallest squads in the division ( as someone else said we really have 13 or 14 decent players). Arsenal are one of the teams we rarely beat so I can only hope we find a way past them. Lingard will probably be key again.
Just hope we can perform well and take any chances we get.

Lanzini had his chance when he started a game a few weeks back and failed miserably. He's done for, accept it. Why do you think there is zero interest in him.

See Saka fit but still a question mark over Fornals, not so lucky with injuries now. If he can't play I would like to see Lanzini rather than Bowen, higher work rate and he deserves to be given a chance to show he is worth keeping.

I see that Saka is fit and expected to play now. Hope Cresswell is up to it defensively if we play a four at the back. He is vulnerable to pace. Perhaps Johnson will get another outing after all or will that stunt our attacking options?

We should be putting out an attacking side and playing to win tomorrow or what is the point?. Playing Noble is not that.

We have to really go for it in this game. Everything is going pretty well but I'm still not a fan of Moyes. Football can turn quite quickly, you only have to look at Spurs.top of the League looking lethal but a tad boring. We've been poor against the big boys i the main, but ironcally played better with more attacking nouse against City. The players must be a bit frustrated with giving the game away against ManU 3 times. Moyes needs go for it as Arsenal are there to beaten. I hope Moyes watched the Europa League game on Thursday. If Noble starts we have lost the game. Not only does Dec cede the armband to him, no idea why he does that by the way, he also cedes his position and the balance in midfield is funked every time Noble starts. Personally I don't think he should even be on the bench. Anyway, about time we give this lot a beating, long overdue, so

Ah, we might as well not even bother to turn up then and just forfeit the game if the referee is Jon Moss.
Pathetic!

True. At least Yarmolenko has a goal threat in him, unlike certain other of our attacking midfield/ wide forward options.

I quite like Yarmolenko coming on late, for me he always has an unexpected goal in him. But he is an over paid bit player who can as mentioned fuck right off, especially if we get a couple of bob for him.
