Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
So Fury to fight Wilder. IBF will make Joshua fight Usyk.

If both come out winners and this fight is then made for later this year or possibly even early next, will Hearn and Co get this fight made in the UK? Covid aside, this has to be staged at Wembley. The Saudis offer money if we can't have fans in stadiums but if they fill Wembley plus have sky box office set at about £50 for subscription they'd make serious money.

Fury don’t fancy it, all that 3rd round, CrossFit, bodybuilder bullshit was all flannel.

He knows AJ can cause him real problems. Yes a good Fury probably does beat a good AJ but it’s not the landslide people think or assume.

It’s a fucking shambles that this fight isn’t happening- wilder v fury 3 can fuck right off.

I like Fury and I always beleived it was AJ who was probably doging the fight (eveyone has their own opinion on this) but this clearly makes Fury look like he wasn't up for the fight in the first place.

If he really is the peoples champion like he claims he is, then take the peoples fight and forfeit the WBC belt as previously mentioned.

Could not give a fuck about Wilder v Fury 3.

Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
Sorry to drag this out but its worth saying fair play to John Fury. Has come out and blamed his sons US team i.e Arum for this debacle. Apparently told his son to ditch the WBC belt and fight AJ. For the first time ever he is speaking sense.

Could be 4 fights if Wilder wins - 1 win each plus a draw, they'll probably want a decider.

Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
Obviously he did yes but that's fine, im a sharer.

The reason why I have a problem with him is that he is a lying cheating pikey scumbag who talks shit and pays farmers off (but don't give them any money).

Thanks for asking though. Nothing like a social handgrenade stopping the flow of a conversation with a silly comment.

Did Tyson fuck your missus?

Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
I get that Lee but let a couple of boxers fight once, maybe twice then go on to fight others letting the fans debate scorecards and how a former 'chinny' fighter dispelled all those rumours by beating up some class opponents and having a third fight. That's entertainment, maybe even a bit of pantomime which we all love.

This 'best of three' bollocks stinks of rock, paper, scissors with a bit of added violence. It's great I'm sure if you are a boxing promoter as it's guaranteed dough but for fight fans?

Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
I think Joshua has been ordered to fight Usyk so same situation as Fury/Wilder. it only delays things a little, Fury will bang out Wilder then finish off Joshua the fight after

Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
Depends on who the fighters are. There's been some absolute great trilogy fights.

This won't be one of them though.

Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
I don't know shit about boxing I'll freely admit but what the fuck is a 3 fight contract all about?

Who the fuck wants to see two fighters box THREE times?

Modern life really is rubbish.

Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
AJ has done nothing wrong, Fury and his team clearly didn't want this fight, otherwise they would have put up more of an defence about how Wilder avoided the 3rd fight by not attempting to organise a date, the contract then expired.

Hallerinthemorning 12:36 Tue May 25
Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
He is only fighting Usyk cos of Fury pulling out or being 'forced' to fight wilder. AJ has done nothing wrong in all this.

Johnson 12:34 Tue May 25
Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
So, were both fighters trying to book a fight with each other with mandatories on their heads?

If so how comes Joshua is escaping criticism or does his kick in because the August fight is delayed?

Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
Well from a personal point of view I’m overjoyed if this fight does not go ahead in August… got a festival booked in and the fight would have clashed with From the Jam… so rather than panicking with MATES as to what and how we are going to do both now I can relax and look forward to December… cheers

Block 12:27 Tue May 25
Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
He has, Johnson.

Haller, at least Hearn is actually trying to make the fights happen.

This all absolutely stinks, and stems IMO from Fury not wanting AJ at all.

Hallerinthemorning 12:23 Tue May 25
Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
Arum and Warren had the chance to terminate the Wilder contract in December and didn't.......wonder why. Hearn Implies in that latest IFL interview that something stinks in all this. Bit rich, we all know boxing is corrupt as fuck and rarely gives us the fights we actually want at the time they are wanted.

Johnson 12:04 Tue May 25
Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
Joshua has been mandated to Usyk now anyway hasn't he?

Block 11:48 Tue May 25
Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
Wilder had the chance to fight Fury again, Covid is just an excuse for Wilder ducking Fury.

We all know Wilder is going to get spanked again, just pay the cunt off and let Fury and AJ fight.

As I said earlier in the thread, it really does look to me as if Fury is dodging AJ.

Lee Trundle 11:44 Tue May 25
Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
Peter Fury was interview recently and pretty much admitted it's all down to Tyson that the AJ fight isn't happening.

Admits he should never have signed up to a 3 fight deal with Wilder in the first place.

Block 11:40 Tue May 25
Re: Joshua v Fury August 14
Usyk, was more than happy to step aside - he went on record saying this.

It's wilder and the WBC who are being the cunts, the WBC love Wilder and want him as their paper champion.

Boxing has always been a dirty business.
