GTHC Predicts, Brighton Away
Last week it was could we bag top 4 and CL next season, this week its can we bag 5th and Europa? On peper we should walk this, but Brighton do have a habit of turning up against us in recent years, be a hard game but hopefully the start of 3 on the trot to finish the season and some form of European football next season, 2-0....COYI

Lawro is on the fence, so only half cursed.....

West Ham's home defeat by Everton last weekend all but finished off their hopes of making the top four, even though it is still mathematically possible. I see more frustration for David Moyes' side here too.

Brighton will be without suspended duo Lewis Dunk and Neal Maupay after their red cards against Wolves. That should help the Hammers, but I still think Brighton will get something out of the game.

Staying up again this time means the Seagulls will spend a fifth consecutive season in the top flight for the first time in their history, which is a great achievement.

Well done to Brighton boss Graham Potter, and to the club's board - because they went out on a limb to bring him in as manager in 2019, and gave him a long contract too.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

Lato - that was the year when the great Vaz Te score a hat trick against them - we are due for a result against them.

No Dunk
No Maupay

Yes they are our bogey side and we haven't beaten them in nearly a decade but that makes us well overdue. We should have Rice back and they have nothing to play for and we'll win this one if we get at them.

1-3 COYI with Soucek on the scoresheet

I don't blame him, it was about as Allarderci as you could get. The best bit was ending up on a coach full of lost Norwegians.

You must have a really tiny pen to put this on pep(p)er.

Although Brighton are not to be sneezed at, I reckon we'll win this.

Brighton are our bogey team since they got into the Premier League. We have not beaten them since that 6-0 drubbing we gave them at Upton Park in 2012. Hopefully that will change tomorrow night COYI

They're going to badly miss Dunk at the back - not only a very good CB but their leader. We should be back to full strength so I fancy a big score here, at least a Ratch.

Re: GTHC Predicts, Brighton Away
Don’t be fooled by Brighton’s league position. They have a goal difference of a mid table team and have registered the most drawn games in the EPL to date.

On current form a draw is the most likely result but we, unlike Brighton, really need the win.

Narrow victory for us in low scoring game. But for heaven’s sake let’s have some shots on target.

Lawro has Brighton in 11th place this season, and us in 13th.

0-2 and a rare clean sheet.

Re: GTHC Predicts, Brighton Away
They only have pride to play for, and 2 big players suspended. We have a lot to play for and have Rice back. Also, this is not their last home, they are more likely to give that game a proper go when they have fans in to finish the season.

1-3
