Wolves manager moving on
Wolves announce that Sunday's game vs. Man United will be Nuno Espirito Santo's final match as manager.

The fans will be back to bid Nuno farewell

What an incredible job he has done

Blagg - No doubt. The manager truly is the most important person at a football club. A good manager leaves and it can it fall apart, Man Utd and Arsenal being the best examples. The same will happen to Burnley when Dyche goes. Palace will no doubt struggle too.

I was pretty shocked by this news but then read the classic 'he'd taken the team as far as he could'. WTF? This is Wolves we're talking about. They will sell and struggle next season

The story about the Portuguese guy was strange but possible until the bit about investing big was mentioned.

For Sullivan strong investment would mean paying a extra quid for seat selection on a National Express bus

Simeones basic salary is €32,000,000 a year so I can think of a number of reasons he won’t join us

Not surprisingly the reports are that Wolves are looking at a couple of Portuguese managers as a replacement.

Was also saying that Nuno feels like he basically run his race at Wolves and has spent 4 years away from his family.
If he was to follow that by joining Spurs it might not go down well.
Any Wolves fans whining about his work there need their heads read.
Jiminez is supposed to be back in training from July and hopes to return in PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. Not sure thats a good idea for a centre forward ... or whether it should even be allowed unless its the equivalent of a massive foam pillow on his head that makes heading impossible.

Even most Wolves fans call him the Portuguese Tony Pulis. Please say the Spurs link is true.

It's the bit about 'strong investment' where the article falls down.

If we are going after managers abroad, I would go for Simeone

Interesting development. So what happens to half of Portugal he has left behind. He seems to be a good fit for Spuds, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Eddie Howe for Wolves?

Portuguese outlet claims that in an attempt to bring in a manager who is more familiar with European football, the Hammers’ hierarchy, who are reportedly preparing for a summer of big investment, have identified Porto’s Conceicao as Moyes’ possible successor.

The only way Allardyce joins Wolves is if Mark Curtis replaces Jorge Mendes.

I wouldn't want a manager that constantly bends over to take a length from an agent, so I wouldn't want Nuno at WHU.

Why would it wind WBA fans up?

I'd have been celebrating if he had left us for one of our local rivals.
