Tottenham Hotspur are in talks about signing Jannik Vestergaard after the Southampton centre back entered the final year of his contract.

Everton have granted Richarlison his wish to go straight from the Copa America to represent Brazil at the Olympics.

Luis Enrique will seek assistance from his trusted psychologist, Joaquin Valdes, as he attempts to calm his players' nerves before Spain's Euro 2020 semi-final against Italy tonight.

Harry Kane will make a shirt presentation before kick-off to honour stricken Denmark star Christian Eriksen.

Bayern Munich chief Oliver Kahn is "optimistic" about keeping Kingsley Coman despite interest from Liverpool.
Rio Ferdinand claims he has sent Raphael Varane a text message to convince him to join Manchester United.
Mohamed Salah's Olympic hopes were dashed by Liverpool, who refused to let the striker represent Egypt in Tokyo.

Manchester United have reportedly bid for Raphael Varane and are targeting Eduardo Camavinga in a £75m double swoop.

A Denmark fan has claimed he had a rainbow flag "pulled out of his hands" by a steward in Baku.

UEFA will be ordered to compensate the three European Super League rebels with tens of millions of pounds if it attempts to impose a Champions League ban in punishment for pursuing the breakaway competition.

The Football Association are set to cash in on England's run to the semi-finals of the European Championship, with a new sleeve sponsorship deal for the players' training kit among a host of contracts in the pipeline.

Barcelona's financial troubles are so bad that they are currently unable to register any of their summer signings, according to reports in Spain.

Harry Kane's Tottenham team-mate Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is giving Denmark inside knowledge on how to stop the England captain.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly won the race for Sergio Ramos with the 35-year-old defender set for his medical on Tuesday ahead of joining on a free transfer from Real Madrid.

Harry Kane has urged England to seize their chance of a lifetime on home soil this week and warned it may never happen again.

England's players have been warned not to hug loved ones in the Wembley crowd if they reach the European Championship final.

Liverpool are edging closer to their second signing of the summer as Otávio could leave Porto following his agent's comments.

Roberto Mancini believes it is "very unfair" that the vast majority of the 60,000 spectators expected at Wembley on Tuesday for the Euro 2020 semi‑final between Italy and Spain will not be from the respective countries.

New West Brom boss Valerien Ismael admits he expects Sam Johnstone and Matheus Pereira to leave The Hawthorns.

Paris Saint-Germain have made contact with Paul Pogba's representatives over a potential blockbuster summer move, according to reports.

Luis Enrique insists his three-year pursuit of Aymeric Laporte is finally paying dividends as Spain look to shut out Italy at Wembley this evening.

West Ham may have been handed a boost in the pursuit of heavily linked West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

The Hammers have reportedly been considering a bid for the 28-year-old stopper after the Baggies were relegated from the Premier League last term.

Johnstone was a beacon of hope in an otherwise dismal season for the Midlands club and has been tipped to remain in the top-flight.

As quoted by The Independent and cited by Football League Zone, the new manager at The Hawthorns, Valerien Ismael, has suggested that the stopper is unlikely to remain beyond the window.

Currently away with the England squad at Euro 2020, it’s unlikely any move for Johnstone would be completed prior to the Three Lions’ involvement in the tournament.

Hailed as ‘sensational’ by Gary Lineker on Twitter after yet another fine display, during 2020/21 the ace earned an average Sofascore rating of 7.03 across 37 Premier League outings.

West Ham have opened preliminary talks with Rennes over signing defender Nayef Aguerd, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The Hammers are stepping up plans to land a centre-back ahead of the new Premier League season.

A West Ham source has told Football Insider that Morocco international Aguerd has emerged as a top target for manager David Moyes.

Discussions have begun over what it would take to lure the 25-year-old to the London Stadium on a permanent deal.

West Ham have received glowing reports from scouts about the versatile defender, who can also slot in at left-back.

He is not the only centre-back on Moyes’ target list, with Villarreal’s Ramiro Funes Mori also being considered.

Like Aguerd, the former Everton defender can play at both centre-back and left-back, which are key for the Londoners.

Football Insider revealed on 26th March that the Irons have made the capture of a top-level centre-back a priority this summer.

Moyes wants cover and competition for senior trio Issa Diop, Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson following the summer exit of Fabian Balbuena.

Aguerd joined Rennes from Dijon last summer for a fee of around £3.6million and signed a contract running until 2024.

He had an impressive debut campaign, making 35 league starts among 40 appearances in all competitions.

West Ham have registered their interest in Burnley’s James Tarkowski but fear he could be priced out of their range.

The Hammers tabled a series of rising to £30m for the Englishman last year but Sean Dyche’s side refused to sell.

West Ham United's home game against Manchester United has been selected for live broadcast in the UK by Sky Sports.

The London Stadium meeting with the Red Devils - which follows hot on the heels of the Hammers' opening UEFA Europa League tie - will now be played on Sunday 19 September with a 2pm kick-off.

It follows on from the Irons' opening two Premier League fixtures of the campaign - against Newcastle United and Leicester City - also being picked for broadcast, with the first two months of 2021/22 now set.

West Ham and Crystal Palace chasing Nketiah
The 22-year-old London-born ace is allegedly set to leave Arsenal this summer (The Athletic).

And the Hammers and the Eagles want to sign Eddie according to Fabrizio Romano.

We have to be honest here, however. Surely West Ham can do a lot better than signing Eddie Nketiah this summer.

The 22-year-old isn’t a bad young striker at all. He has plenty of pace and movement and is a very hard worker.

The Gunners hitman has absolutely no kind of physical presence through the middle, however, and his goalscoring record is fairly poor to say the least with just 18 goals in 84 senior games to his name (Transfermarkt).

He wouldn’t suit the Hammers’ playing style whatsoever.

Nketiah could cost around £20 million as well according to a report from The Sun.
