Guilty pleasures.
What do you like that you really shouldn't?

As a Punk Rocker I really shouldn't have liked or admitted to like Sparks-particularly in their Georgo Moroda years but I just did.

I've loved them since I was a little kid watching them do 'This town ain't big enough for the both of us'.

I went to see 'The Sparks Brothers' documentary on Sunday and just thought 'I fucking LOVE this band' and they keep getting better as they get older. YouTube 'Edith Piafe said it better than me' and you'll see what I mean.

Anyway, you cunts? There have got to be some train spotters among you surely?

Why don't you just rip your license up and chuck your job up the road?

Big Kawasaki's are impossible to ride at the speed limit on. I actually think that you'd be a bit disappointed after having a GSXR1000 too. The ZZR is a big old lump.

I’ve seen all the fast and furious films but watching F&F 9 I sat there thinking, that’s impossible, can’t do that in real life, at least be more realistic etc.

Getting old. Very tempted to buy my mates ZZR 1100 even tho I sold my last bike in 2006.

hair metal. the soft lads with perms and leather chaps on vocals i could go without, but the musicianship on offer is off the scale. there are guitarists today who are far more technically accomplished, by that combination of swagger, sleaze, creativity and sheer technical supremacy that you get out of a good nuno bettencourt or george lynch lead is hard to match.

Re: Guilty pleasures.

Nothing wrong or guilty about Len Cohen, he is a legend and cool as fuck. Seen him 3 times and met him once at the 02. Charming gentleman with fuck all ego, yet seen it all over his music career since the mid 60s.

Well Manuel, this thread isn't going the way you thought is would, is it?

Why don't you have a big think and maybe contribute something constructive from time to time? You can still be a cunt (as we all are and the site is better, maybe even unique for that) but would something interesting once in a blue moon really kill you?

Peckham, I know exactly how you feel. I'm watching all kinds of shit that I wouldn't normally watch as I don't want to get dragged down any further in these strange times. Why anyone would want to watch Contagion (which was trending on Netflix) is beyond me. I actually started to watch Fast and furious 9 at the gym last night and I have never even seen the first one!

The more I can switch my brain off the better. Particularly trying to get over Covid and sweating my bollocks off at the gym.

Yeah Manuel, it is tough living in Chelsea Village and being semi retired. FAR from peasant life.

As for wifi I just pick up Chelsea FCs when I am there, no point having a modem and line as I am always out and about in different parts of the country, this week Ipswich Harbour then a month in Devon, then maybe back to Madrid when its winter here. Its tough mate. But I do not give a fuck about anyone or anything, all I want is to speak to my Mother again.

Its funny, whenever you post I have a picture of Kevin and Perry, Kevin throwing a strop at his parents, yet you throw your stroppy attitude to every post or thread you do not like or have no interest in. I honestly do not understand why you contribute to threads with fuck all constructiveness.

You seem compelled to jump on peoples threads when you CLEARLY have no interest , have a sissy hissy fit at how boring it is then move with the same attitude like a sulking Kevin and Perry to the next thread you have no interest in.

You are simply a keyboard warrior, nothing more, nothing less.

Some could say a no mark is what you are.

PS. Back to the thread, Television is my guilty pleasure watching Four in a Bed in 6 months I have not seen one B&B I would want to stay in and love how they all get personal and offended when people do not like their properties or breakfast is 5 minutes too late.

Also since my Mother has died , to try and distract from daily mourning, I have gone through every Modern Family. Harmless fun entertainment not the dark humour or cutting edge as Larry David etc. that I prefer. But I enjoy it and especially Sofia Vergara.

Back to Manuel I am a million times richer than you ever will be Mr No Mark. Its all about being rich in heart, not materialistic things you can only dream of.
