ive alwasy hated every aspect of bob dylan - furst came to my attention with the spotty crater faced hippy kids in school wearing stinky afgham coats and not washing... dreary hideous music ...the fact he's seemingly a nonce just about makes my day

Anyone who doesnt appreciate Dylan is a moron (HIYA , COYI!).
I think his voice suits his music and obviously Blood On The Tracks is one of the best if not the best album of all time
My rating of 'shit singers' are people like Celine Dion and Mariah Carey who sing scales LA LA LA LA LA to show how off how they can reach notes. Like fingernails on a blackboard.
Give me Dylan, Tom Waits or someone like Elvis Costello on Blood & Chocolate any day.

I don't know if he is a nonce or not but one thing I know is that Zimmerman is one of the most overrated singer songwriters in musical history. He produced mainly dirge and is a truly shit singer.
Totally do not get the appeal of this bloke. A glorified busker.

John Peel has a certain degree of immunity, as his wife never claimed she was damaged by him.
He wasn't quite on the same level as the "fuck kids, and then tell them to fuck off" rest of them.
_I_'m not saying it was right, but it is difficult when the wronged party doesn't feel she was wronged.
