GTHC Predicts, Palace at Home
|
Great start to the season, long may it continue and it SHOULD against a bang average Crystal Palace, in seasons gone by complacency in games like this has been our undoing, but under Moyes i dont think that is possible, well i hope it isnt....
Despite the curse, as expected he would be a right chump to predict anything else! Another 4 but this time to ZERO, Antonio and Benrahma among the goals again....COYI
West Ham have won their opening two games and are top. Although it is still early days, you would think they may bring in two or three more signings before Tuesday's transfer deadline too.
They have the added matches of the Europa League this season, so if West Ham finish in the top 10 again that will be another accomplishment for Moyes and the club.
Patrick Vieira has replaced Roy Hodgson and will have his way of doing things but the main worry for Crystal Palace is the amount of playing experience they have lost. You need that as a new manager because if you are trying to play a different way, you need to be difficult to play against.
Lawro's prediction: 2-0

cup of tea yeah we are not used to be in this position Zaha is always up for playing against us and usually puts in a performance. Just hope every player is 100% up for this. All have to be totally focused
1-0 not the thrashing we all think I just keep recalling the Swansea game of Bilic epic season when we lost . Moyes will earn his bacon to get the players on the right mind set.

My apologies, I thought you were referring to 1918 when we beat them 11-0 :-)

Crystal Palace was demolished in 1936, after they decided it was irreparable after the fire.
(I was being deliberately obscure, to see if anyone remembered the last discussion on here of the thing that was moved from Hyde Park to South London)

If we play like we did on Monday we will score 4 again so I’m going for 4-1 again.

I'm going to miss this one (I'll always be able to watch football, but I can't see me playing it for more than another decade).
But with both Lawro and a Sydney predicting a win, we're bound to be first on MotD, as we absolutely steamroller Crystal Palace. It'll be 1936 all over again.

Don't antagonise him. It appears that anyone predicting anything less than a 7-0 win is a doom monger who might as well support another club.
I really hope we win. We should win. Doesn't mean anything is guaranteed.

Anyway, Westside has just announced their our bogey team.
As we have garnered 10, from a possible 24 points, in our last 8 matches against them, I would suggest they are more bogey, than bitches, based on recent events.

"Bore off" isn't a cliche?
It's one of the biggest (on here, anyway).
