Fabianski
Conceded 5 goals from 6 shots on target
Personally I’d like to see Areola get a start
Don’t think this will happen until he makes an obvious calamity though

Re: Fabianski
I haven't seen enough of Areola to give a qualified opinion. but what I will say ia i hope Moyes has the bollocks to drop Fab if his head is telling him he should.

Re: Fabianski
Saw the replay this morning & agree the first goal was a bit CHOCOLATE WRISTS.
Fab is another year older, reactions slow & agility & athleticism decline.
Think we have done the right thing having AREOLA come in but its up to him to push his case when he gets a chance.
Still think Fab can then do this season and next as a no.2 and we can shift Randolph in the period where Championship clubs can take players.

Re: Fabianski
Was out yesterday so missed the game

Only just saw the goals

My takeaway, Fabianski was very Flapphyhandski for their 1st goal

Very poor effort

Moyes has to bring Areola in

Re: Fabianski
Areola will play out from the back into midfield a lot more than Fabianski. This will take some getting used to, especially for Fornals and Soucek who haven't been expected to recieve bas like that to date. Once they've had time to coach what is expected, Areola will be in. He's a far better shot stopper and has more agility.

Re: Fabianski
Had trouble kicking a dead ball, maybe carrying an injury.

Re: Fabianski
Fab has been great for us but not impressed this season so far, certainly should have done better against the Newcs and yet to see yesterdays goals. I would be surprised and disappointed if he was not replaced for the next match.

His distribution from feet is very poor hopefully Areola is an improvement

Re: Fabianski
Fabianski should of done better with those 2 goals palace scored.

Watching the warm up today Areola didn’t look that good I don’t remember him saving a shot.

Re: Fabianski
Flappy has lost his agility.
Time has caught up with him.
Areola has to No 1 now.

Re: Fabianski
For the greater good Areola needs to start.
In Europe and the league.
Fab in for domestic cups.

I’m a big fan of Fab but he doesn’t move from his line. He never collects anything.

Re: Fabianski
but that tielemen's goal doesn't happen if cresswell stays on his feet and clears the ball. the murphy goal in the NEW game is more on the keeper because he fails to dive. you're being harsh, especially when it's been defensive errors on most of the goals

Re: Fabianski
Areola will USURP him as number 1, no doubt.

Tieleman’s goal was poor keeping

Re: Fabianski
By my recollection I cant think of one that I thought he should have done better with. Unlike his defence.
Areola will take over soon enough. Imagine he will get the Man U League cup game and its up to him to make his claim.

Re: Fabianski
Not suggesting other people aren’t to blame for allowing shots to get in on goal
But it’s still his job to save them

Re: Fabianski
yes, all fabianski's fault. nothing to do with dawson, cresswell or rice
