GTHC Predicts, Man Utd at Home
Well no curse! Toughest game of the season so far, but after tonight’s result and performance in Croatia we will be going into it on a high, expecting Zouma to start this one with Oggy, give King Kurt another serving of what ever he had tonight!!!

Be close but Hammers to edge it 2-1……….COYI

West Ham striker Michail Antonio is suspended for this game which is a massive blow for them.

I know Manchester United were far from impressive in the Champions League in midweek but I don't think it will stop them from making it out of their group.

If anything, it could be beneficial. The hype around Cristiano Ronaldo's return might have meant a few people were getting carried away but that defeat should focus them, and remind them how much work they have got to do.

Lawro's prediction: 0-2

I think he will change the set up slightly.
We have found we have a number of goalscorers in the team. I can see Moyes expecting the players to share the work up front from midfield. Be interchangeable.
They won’t know who to mark and we could isolate Mcquire who isn’t the fastest.
What I don’t want though is too much respect shown to them which Moyes was guilty of a couple of times last season.
Let’s have a go.

Sadly I think he's right. The game would have been difficult enough with Antonio.

Ronaldo's 2 goals against Newcastle were both keepers mistakes. Hope we dont give him too much respect. We have kept him quiet with a team less talented than our present one.

I’ve just seen Lawro’s notes.

1. Write a few arbitrary words about West Ham
2. Write a whole paragraph on United (sic)
3. Make sure you mention Ronaldo
4. Boring shit prediction with numbers ranging from zero to two (with United winning of course)

Hard to disagree with his predicted Manc win.

We will do very well to get anything out of this, not saying we can't but it's doubtful.

Always happy when GTHC predicts a defeat.
My first home game of this season and looking forward to it. Fancy our chances as confidence is high, we just have to keep Ronaldo quiet.
