Q: 2022 Summer Transfer Window - How many 1st team players will we sign before August 6th
a. None as Sullivan will wait until the last week before he gets his scattergun out the cupboard
b. A couple of freebies paraded as superstars, usual hype to follow
c. I'm more optimistic as surely they know we need to strengthen, 3-4 with decent money spent.
d. Who gives a toss as we have a great squad already, I've already ordered the new replica kit, socks and all and can't wait to wear it at our first game, down the pub of course, I bleed claret & blue

Away ticket ballot
Is it fixed? Put in for 5 away tickets this season and secured and grand total of zero.

Luckily folk I know have spares, so I've been okay, but either I'm incredibly unlucky or the ballot isn't as random as I've been lead to believe.

I called the club a few weeks back, Fifth, and they said no negatives on my account and that it's totally random. Course it is.

We're clearly both still on the blacklist. I haven't been successful in any of them either.

Not once.

I've got Brighton tickets in with the Brighton fans.

Any spare tickets going for Norwich away?

Re: Away ticket ballot
So the final away fixture is sold out, and guess what? I didn't get a ticket in the ballot. That's every ballot I've entered, bar two games in which I got on points.

I've been to Brighton, so it's not a big deal, but I was pissed off about missing Norwich.

Re: Away ticket ballot
Me too PB. Again, nothing for Spurs.

Never had any success with the ballot.

Went to Zagreb, going to be able to get a ticket to Sevilla because I ordered for Vienna. Can get tickets to most of the matches out of London. Just frustrating not to be able to get tickets for London matches.

I suppose that for 22/23 season the PPs will only count from 21/22 as usually happens. At present, I think it's about 3 seasons that are still counting because of Covid? That's why I've got more points than ever before but still can't get tickets for some matches.

11 ballots, zero success.

Random, innit?

Re: Away ticket ballot
Been lucky in the ballot a few times with junior. Probably a 20pc success rate.

Man u, chelsea, spurs, southampton a couple of seasons ago.

palace this season the only one so far.

It's not the AST (they've been going for years), it's just that away games are more popular now.

Re: Away ticket ballot
PB & Fifth same here picked up tickets for Saints probably down to the allocation and it being a midweek game, but the ballot seems farcical.

Years ago as a STH you could almost guarantee a ticket for any away game, all play off semi aways, Cup games, high profile matches etc, but this scramble for tickets seems to have coincided with the introduction of the away season ticket and it's nigh on impossible to get one of those either

Me too.

Massively annoying.

Another ballot, another nothing.

10 or 11 I think now.

Re: Away ticket ballot
Liverpool tickets didn't go down to enough points for my son who's on fewer points than me and I'd been waiting to buy two together.

Like Pub Bigot I've never once got tickets in the ballot.

Is anyone else clearly blacklisted or is it just the two of us?

And why have they never bothered to address the complaint that you don't receive a notification if youre unsuccessful in the ballot?

It's 100% collection in the venue city now, which works well and eliminates cheating of the system. I reckon that will have been discussed as well, but they couldn't realistically have 3000 of us turn up ten minutes before kick off to collect tickets.

Bernie - they said that about the COVID restricted attendance matches, but not away matches as far as I recall.

Re: Away ticket ballot
After two years of ballots I got tickets for the Palace game. And I nearly missed that as I only entered about half hour before the deadline.

I'll be trying for the other games coming up and I reckon I'm due to be selected again in the season 23/24.

Re: Away ticket ballot
I applied for Leicester but nish.

I thought the club said people that had never got tickets in the ballots would get priority over those that had going forward?

Obviously not

Re: Away ticket ballot
England used to do a proof of attendance. If you couldn’t provide the proof you couldn’t claim the points.

Something like that would be helpful as there are loads of resellers albeit I completely agree those who go the most often should get the priority.

I must be blackballed, Docks, mate. I got one a couple from a good Samaritan for today and Leicester.

Re: Away ticket ballot
3 more from the ballot for Leicester away. I hadn't ever applied before this season and I've had tickets come back for three games now.

Does anyone know if it's randomly selected ? Or is it based on when applications are submitted ? Either way it definitely works.

Re: Away ticket ballot
13 points to be precise. No points for Leeds.
