What is the point?
England women 4 up after 12 minutes against Latvia who they beat 10-0 a few weeks ago.

Almost as pointless as the England’s men’s match against San Marino.

Why do UEFA think these matches are worth playing? Just do a qualifying group for the minnows.

I fully expect 20-0 tonight.

"Try Trans Euro Express on TS"

OK, Crassus, I'll give it a go, mate. I'm fairly open minded, but I'm not sure if a load of trannies on a train is really my thing.

Try everything once, though, eh.

I agree.

The Sunday Supplement used to be good to watch.

The football shows that are worth a listen are the journo type discussions
Not the usual half witted scribes that we seem to breed in abundance these days, but the foreign and more insightful version
In depth technical analysis and inside stories of transfer machinations

Re: What is the point?
In terms of football analysis, they're all.pretty much honest - although they all have the 'big club' bias thing going on a lot.

I'd just like a few more funny stories that could be thrown in.

Then again, I suppose you have podcasts for that.

As much as you can tell he has the capacity to be a horrible cunt, Roy Keane is a funny fucker if you listen to him on podcasts and youtube.

Re: What is the point?
Agree with both below. You look at Wimbledon for instance. Sue Barker who played the the highest level then Champions like McEnroe, Navratilova, Tracy Austin, Becker, Billie Jean King, players who have been there and done it so you listen to say what they have to say. Generally however the men stick with the men's game and the women the women's game. I cannot listen to Alex Scott talk about playing in the PL or a World Cup because she "hasn't" played in them.

Re: What is the point?
As it goes, I rarely listen to the twerps masquerading as pundits
The majority these days are barely capable of stringing a sentence together and those that are, spew banalities
As bad as they are, it only darkens the mood when ambushed by 'woman' earnestly talking about something she quite simply has not experienced - I was Aluko-ed last night, grim I tells ya

I get the impression Souness can't wait to be binned off from Sky (which will inevitably happen as he's white and over 50) when he has to sit there and listen to idiots trying to rile him up.

Re: What is the point?
I remember that, Zico, it was quite a while back. it was Alex Scott talking about the 'low block' to Souness - Carregher was just sitting there just finding it all amusing.

*Speaking of Alex Scott and her 'low block' I'd love to tell her about my 'hung low cock'

*some of the above may not be true

G-Nev honest?

I haven't followed it particularly closely, but wasn't he part of the team that had their tongue firmly up Solskjaer's ring piece?

goose 4:12 Wed Dec 1
Re: What is the point?
I think that's why G-Nev stands out, he is honest and expresses an opinion about subjects.

I'd like some of the co-commentators in games to climb off the fence and do the same.
