Are opposition players intimidated at the LS?
The scouse keeper had a nightmare a few weeks back.

Some dodgy defending today from the rent boys.

Regardless of what you think of the stadium it’s huge and impressive. If you put yourselfs in the shoes of an away keeper it could be intimidating

Well looks like Ramsdale, Pickford and Ederson would be fu**ed when they play in the LS next.

Is this actually going to happen any time soon?

Hmmmm. Two top keepers, Allisson and Mendy fell apart at the stadium. 🤔🤔

jfk.... Scouse mates not yids... otherwise spot on...

Look i'm absolutely OTM now that my MATES that kept their tickets going are now at last seeing a team putting in performances that warrants their dedication... I don't want them going to games thinking this is a pile of shit which has been the majority of their time since the move... I'm not than fucking shallow and vindictive... I'm glad at last it's a show over there.... but.... opposition players being intimidated.... well... if they are they need putting out of their misery

Northern sold as myself and many others have said the LS is no Upton Park regrettably but it’s all we’re left with.
In my opinion it’s beginning to feel much more like home, pre match pubs where mates gather for a few pints have encouraged our supporters and our teams for the best part. Have been very impressive.
You spout on here about your yid mates getting into LS all I can say they don’t sit stand anywhere near me.
You’ve drawn an opinion the LS is shit end of.
We don’t need tossers like you going to games.
Every time I come on here to catch up and have look at threads it’s you sit on here all day every talking bollocks about your minty mates.
If you didn’t sit on here all day maybe you could nick a few quid.

Not sure about the opposition players but the away fans must find it quite a spectacle, especially the fans from smaller clubs... like Chelsea.

I want it to be more intimidating so that little tossers like Mount don't feel they can take the piss when they score.

The stadium, particularly with it’s shape looks like a coliseum to me and should be named to reflect that.
Be good if any visiting players felt like the Christians and our lot the gladiators.
I’ve only been to half a dozen games over there but a few of them were against Spurs. You could feel the ‘hate and hostility’, and that did transfer onto the pitch.

Tuchel "So you fucking idiot why did you fuck about for their 1st goal and then let that mis hit cross in for their winner"
Mendy "I shit myself boss it was like Cold Blow Lane out there"

Yesterday was another blinding day and experience over there.

Seemed like was in a very small minority when I kept banging the drum that the place, whilst far from ideal, could become intimidating and feel like home. Glad to see more and more people starting to see it that way.

I honestly think it can get even better, especially once they straighten out the west stand. Whole feel would improve if/when they start allowing small stallholders and food vans around the routes to the stadium.

For me what is going on is that this team can lift the fans. They simply will not give up and Liverpool and now Chelsea have failed to quell us.

I’ve supported this club for decades now and this is a unique period for me.

Mendy, until yesterday, impressed me as one the few keepers better than Fabianski.

He's got a bit of work to do to get back to there.

There keeper certainly had a bad game and when I’ve previously seen him, he has been a good keeper. Perhaps it’s the stadium, it really does rick when the best part of 60,000 are behind the team.
I would still like to see some standing put in close to the pitch and have a massive entertainment space between the lower part of the stadium and the upper seating.

Chim - We were rightly nervous in added time after what had happened against the bees and the seagulls, imagine if it happened again, would have been very hard to accept. i swear i have never cheered so much just by winning a throw in or seeing a 'anywhere will do' punt up the field.

Re: Are opposition players intimidated at the LS?
We've had a few great nights under the lights but yesterday was the first time I have looked around and the whole place is rocking, including the upper tiers.

It was really fucking impressive and shut up the rent boys who were singing 'is this the library'? 'you sold your soul for this shit hole' and 'champions of Europe'

It was an absolutely great day out. First half we were a bit anxious as they have a couple of players that cost more than our entire team and we've all had experience of getting tonked by them after their ownership changed and that dreary cunt who has unlimited funds to buy anyone they like.

Second half most of the people who sit around me were saying how they'd take a point and I think that I would take it too. That's why we are MASSIVE, although to be honest that four minutes extra time felt more like a year!

pentonville, 'with all due respect' I've been in there when it was a great atmosphere but it doesn't bring the pitch any closer to where you're sitting, and I wouldn't go back if you paid me

also, please stop with the better fan bollocks. not sure where you come up with these stupid slogans but I've never used them

Haha no.

I have witnessed that cunt ribman charging 8 quid for a pork roll though.

Good, but need more. I wanna smell them fucking onions.

Sweet stalls is where it's at. Have you ever been to a game with a MATE who has a packet of american hard gums in his jacket and sneakily pops them into his mouth without offering you any :-)

There are food trailers outside. Not many but there are.
