Quick question please
Despite having a season ticket for 20yrs tonight is the first time i will get to stadium via Stratford. Are there multiple routes to the ground or is the easiest route well sign-posted?

When you get out of station turn immediate right keeping Anne Hathaway's cottage on your left . Walk past the Pen and Parchment pub then ask a Japanese tourist for directions.

Yup - you come up the stairs by the away entrances.
I avoided it on Sunday. - but will be ok tonight..........

Just looked it up on Google maps. It's 96 miles and should take about 32 hours to walk From Stratford station to the West Ham shop by the F turnstile. Mostly down the A41..

Cheers Sarge - i've only ever come in from hackney wick so nothing to compare to. If i come in from PML, is the nearest security point the one between the Shop and the Car Park?

HH - I've always thought that security queues at the stadium - especially for the night games are considerably shorter on the Hackney Wick / PML side of the ground - so coming in from that side is less hassle.
Obvs if you leave it late (15 mins b4 ko) you're going to be risking missing the start where ever you go but even so the West side still seems quicker.

Come out of the station, walk straight to the footbridge which goes over the tracks, then follow the crowds
