Sorry to hear about your old man Leonard. He did well working until 78. My dad was forced to at 65.

Toad
My old man was exactly like that.
My mum kept hassling him to retire but he was worried he'd "go to seed".
Finally packed it in aged 78 and that's exactly what happened.
Got vascular dementia within about 18 months and passed away a week short of his 85th birthday.

I understand why Ranieri and Hodgson still want to work into their 70s. My dad is the same. He's not happy being retired, he can't find something to occupy his time.
He's afraid he will develop dementia if he stops actively using his brain. Doing sudokus and puzzles just wont do, he needs to have a purpose in life. Some people just can't happily retire which is why Hodgson is still managing at 74.

Barty - I really wouldn't worry about the multi-millionaire Rannieri's pension pot, fella. How much you got in your pension? I'd worry about that if I were you.

The official offer letter to Roy Hodgson has been leaked.
Dear Mr Hodgson,
Are you free for the next 6-8 weeks as we'd like you to be the new Watford Manager?
Kind Regards,

Watford only have Caretaker managers. Nobody's there long enough to be considered a real 'Manager'. It will become hard for them to attract anyone other than a mercenary after a pay day.

I reckon Woy could be just the man they need. He gets teams organised and makes them hard to beat - not great to watch mind you.

Fat Sam needs some patience Could be the next man in at Easter
They MUST have contracts that have a set payout rather than the rest of the contract. Believe Ranieri had a 2 season contract .... Autumn & Winter
