Moyes Praises Brady ???
Moyes said of this "woman" about the work during the transfer window....

“I’ve got to say, the work Karren Brady’s done to try and see if we could get some deals and get things happening, she’s been really good.”

REALLY GOOD????

In any industry any one who fails to deliver gets disciplined or sacked. Just like in the Apprentice contestants know what happen if you fail in a task.

Someone should be "pointing" a finger at her!!

Moyes would never kiss anyone's arse imho. If Moyes said Brady impressed him - she did.

It's coming out now that Man Utd threw a last minute wobbly denying Lingard's move to WH due to Greenwood's arrest.

Obviously though. Blaming GSB for Moyes inability to see beyond getting Lingard in his team fits the narrative...

Maybe she did do a good job. We actually have no idea what she does day to day.

I was massively disappointed by the window. My earlier post was in reaction to the OP who suggested Brady was involved in our transfer policy.

Alfs He didn't have to praise her by " greasing up her crack", he could just kept his mouth shut. During his time in Everton he praise his scouting team - never one prised the board during the time of the transfer window.

I understand not biting the hand that feeds you, but not sure why he has gone out of his way to praise KB ?

I would expect him, as their employee, to maybe say that the owners tried their best but if managers and players are judged by their results then why not owners too?

Goal was to sign a CB and a striker and we signed fuck all. Which means they were fucking useless. Not brilliant.

I think Moyes has done an excellent job second spell.

But given he once stated that he could never work for our lot, then personally wouldn't trust anything he says about them now.

Re: Moyes Praises Brady ???
Alfs,

I'm the first person to say to people, 'stop moaning,  we've done well to get where we are'.

Part of that, is because we probably shouldn't really be where are and have overacheived - I've felt like it's pointless overly criticising a group of players that as a whole, can't do much more.

Now, that says to me,  we really needed to go out and buy the quality that can help sustain this overacheivement. Since the summer, we haven't done that. We were in a great position to attract very, very good players. Between the board and management, they could have made a better effort to put deals in place to sign these players and cement our position as a club.

Let's not kid ourselves, a massive reason for our progress is down to Rice. If we don't qualify for Europe this season and he goes, these players that we supposedly want but are not available now, will certainly not be when we're back to being mediocre at best. We as West Ham fans, have seen us fail in the past(too many fucking times) to capatalise and build from a position of real strength.

I'd love nothing more than Moyes to prove me wrong and go ahead and win a cup/qualify for Europe again, this season. But I just can't see it happening, with the present squad of players and its fucking annoying.

That's not down to me being irrational or not appreciating what we've achieved in a relatively short space of time. It's just plainly & simply history, logic and reason telling me.

Hopefully, mine and others fears that we've missed a trick this season, are just that - 'fears' and nothing more - I won't hold my breath, though.

''How about enjoying the season rather than having a go at everyone? It's been the best two seasons we've had in a long time''

Were you crying typing that out? If you think 'everyone' is immune to crticism, that's on you. I'd suggest posters can, rightly, say what they want about this piss poor window, with good reason. It's the fact that we are in a good position is what makes this window so poor, that has obviously gone straight over your head.

Re: Moyes Praises Brady ???
God, some of you are thick.

She wouldn't be deciding on the players that Moyes was targeting but dealing with the financials - which is her job.

I have no reason to not believe Moyes's half term report.

How about enjoying the season rather than having a go at everyone? It's been the best two seasons we've had in a long time.

Re: Moyes Praises Brady ???
Considering her "Task" was to get players before deadline from which she failed miserably, she shouldn't have the gall to make bitchy remakes to the likes of the failed team.

Bloke I work with knows someone who was involved in an Apprentice episode as an industry expert. What he told me about his mate’s interactions with her simply confirmed that she really is one vile, deluded, arrogant cunt. I wouldn’t piss on her if she was on fire.

Not sure how anyone can have anything good to say about this sour faced cunt. Her appearance on The Apprentice might aswell be non existent. The same tone and the same slapped arse face look.

Re: Moyes Praises Brady ???
If I was asked to praise my boss just after he'd fucked up, I'd go well over the top.

Even if he twigged my sarcasm, he'd find it quite difficult to discipline me for it, without confirming he'd actually put in a shit performance.,

Re: Moyes Praises Brady ???
Looking at it positively (I'm trying...), the board are full of narcissists. So making them feel like they're amazing will get you more money and more power in the long run.

48 laws of power and all that...

Maybe Moyes is pretty good at playing the long game here. I hope so.

Re: Moyes Praises Brady ???
Seems to be what fits the narrative when it comes to GSB, on other threads its all down to Sullivan for lack of transfers, on this its now Brady’s fault which is strange as I would have thought it would be the owners that had final say on bids etc? So Moyes praise may have been warranted, she did all the ground work had deals in place but other factors including owners not signing off or lowering the offer etc saw them not happen, could easily be the players were not for sale at any cost or selling club or player had a change of heart etc as well, but again that doesn’t fit the narrative……..
