Personally I hope we can avoid Barcelona and Leipzig, we can leave them until later in the comp! They can draw each other though; one of them then goes out.
Of the rest I would like Rangers, away first of course, They are also batting way above there level IMO and although im sure they would be well up for it, think we would progress to the semis a bit easier then we got to this stage, be another great night at the LS as well with that added England/Scotland rivalry.

If it’s like Seville away,you have to pick the tickets up with photo idea in Lyon.A good few got knocked back at the hotel in Seville.

Yeah big fountain. Ok during the day . Actually was wrong about the Spurs fans. It was Neo Nazis fans who attacked them . There was a local fan in the Smoking dog called Pierre with loads West Ham tattoos. When asked why he supported us he said because we were right wing !!!! Well this was 2000-2001.
However I had a few run ins with those of North African descent.

I’d heard that the Lyon fans have a bit of a reputation, so I did a bit of digging and found some articles in relation to violence at a cup match last December.
Apparently, the club itself had banned their fans from attending away matches, so perhaps that might be a reason why they haven’t taken up their full allocation at our place?
Their ‘ultras’ also have a bit of a reputation and go under two names, the ‘Bad Gones’ (Bad Boys) and the ‘Costa Nostra.’
Lyon also made the headlines when Payet had a bottle thrown at him during a match last November.
Just keep your wits about you out there.

Another note of caution . Spurs got ambushed by a gang of Arabs in The Smoking Dog Pub in the old town a few years ago. Keep yer eyes about yer.

No you’re fine where the hotel is. Just walk north a few blocks and like I said cross the river Soane to the old town and there’s loads of pubs. Be wary of Place de Terreaux. A lot of nasty Arabs around and don’t take side roads off there alone. Be in numbers .

Swiss - I’m there from Thursday to Saturday. So was going to spend Friday seeing some of Lyon. That’s why I chose Presquile as I thought it would be the best to get to and from places. I have only reserved my hotel.
Should I change hotels to a different location?

Presqu’ile is too south. You want to be near Place Terreaux between the rivers. You’ve got Ayers Rock , King Arthur pub and others there and just cross the Soane river for 5-10 min walk the old town with The Elephant & Castle, Smoking Dog, St James, Kelly’s , James Joyce.
I should fucking know I lived and worked there for 10 months

What area of Lyon is everyone staying in?
I am in The Presqu'île which is meant to be the heart of Lyon where all the main bars and restaurants are so hoping that's where the West Hams will be drinking.
