A month off to watch the World Cup.
Where to go? Was toying with Kenya as it’s only a 3 hour time difference so the kick offs won’t be that stupid.,

Philippines, Thailand etc I think the time difference is to much, budget of 2.5/3k Benidorm/canaries etc is out (as is anywhere in Europe) as I’ll be over my 6 month thing by then. Only criteria is hot and a beach,

I haven’t verified this but if true, I implore everyone to not let the creepiness of what’s going on here go un-noticed

I did look at Israel but a months hotel in TelAviv is stupid money.

Israel is expensive now, unless you do a downtown airBnB or booking.com in a village somewhere around Galilee (to keep temperature down).

I'd suggest Turkey or Egypt is probably best value and suitable time difference.

I know I bang on about Oman, but Muscat world seem to fit your requirements.

All the big brand hotels in Muscat will be showing the games and are not dry - some also have a private beach.

6 hours from the UK, 45 or so minutes from Qatar.

All the goats you care to fuck/eat.

I have it on good authority that no LGBT+ labourers died on this project,

It got gazumped by it being ok for people to die in large numbers just to build a sporting event........

Re: A month off to watch the World Cup.
We all know about the corruption which has led the WC to be staged in Qatar.
- No history
- lied in their profile pitch that they would combat the summer heat by installing Ac in all stadia
- almost slave labourers from Asia and atrocious working conditions, including having passports confiscated
- fatalities on sites
- major disruptions to Euro leagues by moving it to Nov / Dec after winning the tournament
- backhanders all round FIFA
- idiots like Henderson saying, ‘ we’ve been talked to and have learnt a lot.’. Where the feck has this empty knobhead been the past 6 years?

For these reasons, I’ll be boycotting this rotten tournament . Good luck to all for how you decide to watch it - and enjoy. This is just a personal decision based on personal viewpoints which I don’t expect others to agree.

Really? You're doing the thing you saw someone on here say the other day? What a coincidence. What games will you buy tickets for?

Tanzania or Zanzibar will be easy to watch. They'll be many bar showing the WC , they are crazy, crazy about footie. Caught a ferry from Pemba Island to Tanga,Tanzania and everyone was watching a game between SIMBA sPORTING CLUB and ASEC , from the Cote de Ivory. The loudest were a couple of Muslim ladies really enjoying and discussing the game.
You'll find many a bar wherever you are showing games.
Same time and only a short direct flight to UAE should you wish.
