Making music
I've created a YouTube channel putting my own music creations on there. Alot on here know within the last year how my mental health struggles have been and I have found a way of sorting myself out through music.
Please give it a listen if you have got a spare couple of minutes or so. Any feedback is most welcome, call me a cunt etc etc
Might not be everyones cup of tea but got to start somewhere..
You cunts.. Ironsss

Re: Making music
I really like the uke Weller cover - nowt wrong your playing at all and it is well done

Playing a uke is great fun. I have one and did a couple of inapppropriate covers at the last pre-Covid local open mic night. The jarring of the open chords and rock/metal songs was very pleasing.

Re: Making music
FL Studio is the one that I use.
Have had it since it was called Fruity Loops and has the easiest interface to get your head around quickly (the piano roll view is so easy to use).
There also hundreds of free instrument plugins knocking about to complement the built in ones. It is also relatively cheap and you get free upgradates for life; I have had it for 20 years and they keep coming.

Cheers Ray ... I'll take that as a compliment..

Yes kazoo, perhaps the only song that kazoo actually does work.

Most folk I know who use such things, are currently using Ableton.

Seems to cover all the bases?

Re: Making music
Enjoyed the first couple I clicked on Steve. Will continue to listen to what you put up there. Thanks for that.

On a slightly different note, my recording equipment currently consists of a TEAC 4 track and mixing desk and as such I am yet to enter the digital age seriously, though I have dabbled with Audacity a bit. I'm looking for an interface so that I can record my guitar directly on to my laptop.Possibly something with which I could link my mic with too if such a thing exists. Anyone able to suggest anything?

(Have tried playing guitatr while wiping my knob on the laptop but the Mrs caught me and it was terribly hard to explain).
