Put a few quid on Noble Yeats due to the West Ham connection - was buzzing when it came in and cursing myself to not have backed it properly!

Was at War of the Worlds at the O2 yesterday so first National I have missed in years... watched it without knowing the result when I got home... was on Samcro e/w so once knew he was out of the picture I was cheering the dentist on... that bloke rides Aintree as good as anyone I know... brilliant ride from start to finish and a amazing performance from a 7 year old novice... only black spot has been the loss of the 2 horses... it's certainly bought all the bang drumming lesbians out in social media.... you know the usual I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THEY STOP WHIPPING THEM TO DEATH... yeah those type of lesbians....

My neighbour at Aintree and had £25 e/w on him.

He stayed up there, and is now AWOL so obviously had a good night.

Ridiculous way to end a career.

Been slagged off by experts and punters galore throughout the last 23 years, but doubt he gives a fuck with his gold cup and national cups!!!

Still a bit gutted that Long Run beat Denman in the Gold Cup.

But well done to Waley- Cohen.
Amateur who retires with the Grand National and Gold Cup on his CV.

I was thinking that, with that annoying interviewer going up to jockeys and trainers "before" the race. It's akin to Martin Tyler popping into David Moyes dressing room before the game to have a word!

Would have thought with technology as well you could have small text showing fallers and also changing text showing the first few runners with it changing in order. Sure I have seen that in another sport but can't think what.

Backed the winner for the first time in about 15 years. I might have a DRINK to celebrate.

The name is Noble Yeats - like the poet - and sired by the 4 time Ascot Gold Cup Winner - Yeats.

Sam becomes the first Jewish dentist to complete the Cheltenham Gold Cup/Grand National double.

With 7 career wins over the National fences hope he enjoys his retirement from National Hunt racing.
