Mahle looks a very good player . Ideally we could use a proper right back .
Reckon he is an upgrade on both Coufal and Johnson .
The priority full back position is left back - Cresswell is a very poor defender heading for 33 .

Such is his determination to remain the site amoeba, he even labels himself a nonce. That's taking things to a new level, bravo.

Shut up you nonce, your about as funny as cancer.

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
Possible, though a right back isn’t needed but he is a good player no doubt. I mean Moyes was so keen on signing a left footed Centre back (Aguerd) you’d think to help with the balance of the side so would seem a bit strange to have a right footed left back.

Stowie is the site amoeba. And that's going some given the competition on here.

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
Maybe he is being signed as a right back… players were playing for their West Ham future as Moyes said in the second half of the season.

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
Fact is he is a right back. He is right footed, he has played right back for Atlanta loads.you div. What’s the point in signing a right footed left back, might as well play Johnson there if that’s the case.

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
for his club & national sides he plays left back, but tactical genius stowie knows better than all his coaches and managers. he can only play RB for us, stowie has spoken 😂👍

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
He is a right back, he can play left back but he is predominately a right back.

I think maehele is genuine, pretty sure we were linked before he went Atalanta

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
I thought he was superb during the Euro’s Miike, great pace and engine looks very much the sort of player Moyes would like. Only reservation is I think he’s right footed? Puts me off having him on the left a bit.

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
the danish left back Maehle would be a great signing, I hope the rumours we're interested are true

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
Laughable and not surprising we lose 3 squad players and get one squad player a kid and maybe a keeper we had on loan anyway. It's Arthur Daley club management and Moyes is Minder

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
lots of links to a new set of players today. Always mention of us, Barcodes, Everton, Villa everytime.

All speculative bollox probably. No one really knows.

I am guessing that unless you pay what a club and player wants and meet the terms ( fees, payment schedule etc) from the outset transfers will take weeks? And Sullivan will never, has never just paid what's requested.

Add to this both agents and players waiting to get as many offers as possible, then I think we may not see any further incomings for another month. Another "don't go to bed" , last minute, fingers crossed situation where you end up being grateful for getting anyone with a pulse.

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
stepney, no, Man Utd will try to offload Telles. Shaw will probably still be their 1st choice left back.

Apparently tried to hijack Man Utd's deal for some Dutch left back: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1541809671698366465

That said, if they do sign him, would that make Luke Shaw available?

*Soz

he needed to get a right sided player.....

Side of Ham 6:31 Tue Jun 28
Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
And? He needed to get left sided player a bit more like the one Frankfurt had to balance it out and add a bit of pace and still let Yarmolenko come on as he did to try and make a difference but the fact was Yarmolenko couldn't get a run of games together and didn't link up well with Bowen often enough when he was shoved into the middle. On the left Moyes decided to play either Benrahma, Fornals or Vlasic on the left but never put them into the middle.

The downside of using Bowen in the middle was/is that it fucked up our right hand side and rarely did it work out as the pace was gone on that side. This mean't Bowen would have to hope the left sided players could keep up with him.

Re: Official Transfer Rumours and Gossip Thread
"Moyes could have also brought in a right wing cover so when he moved Bowen there from time to time it didn't badly affect that side of the team and they maybe could have chipped in with some decent assists or even dare I say a goal or two because Bowen was being a threat in the centre....."
--------------------------------------

We were paying Yarmolenko £120k pw for being RW/CF sub. Of course he wasn't up to it but he did score some key goals.
