Scott. I bet with Bet 365, but did not have a Bet Builder. I did do BTTS and a Mighty Hammers win, 10/1 they did not pay out on it?? I did also have Bowen First goal scorer at 14/1.

Bet365 would have paid out if you'd done:

Bet Builder
West Ham to win
Both teams to score.

2-0 up and they pay out for the win.

Whatever the scoreline is, we need an atmosphere over there Sunday like the Sevilla home game. It has to be like that. I'm not saying it will intimidate city but our players need that extra kick up the arse.

To answer my own question I used to have major doubts about Michael Oliver but of late I think he has been quite impartial. Anyway Anthony Taylor it is so fingers crossed he doesn't make the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

I thought 4-1 for us to finish 6th was interesting

Haha! Well it was slightly tongue in cheek as I don't genuinely think things are manipulated to quite that extent, even though I am sure the PL are quite keen on having us win and Liverpool win on Tuesday. I suspect what will happen on Sunday is what usually happens. All the decisions will probably go in favour of the big club and Man City have the title wrapped up there and then, aside from a ridiculous pair of results and massive goal difference swing on the final afternoon.

Downside of that being exactly how hard will liverpool play against Wolves, knowing they have nothing to play for and the CL final coming up, allowing for a very outside chance of them overhauling us if we lose to Brighton.

Scorch - fair enough, I thought the first paragraph was such bollocks I didn't read the second :-)

Re: West Ham to win 1-0 or 2-1 against City 20-1 on Bet365
Yeah fair point- I referenced that in the second paragraph. So we could be in line for the 'rub of the green' in terms of being involved. Maybe a dodgy pen or VAR 'missing' a few things.

Re: West Ham to win 1-0 or 2-1 against City 20-1 on Bet365
Scorch - That makes no sense, the worse City's result against us the more final day drama.. If they beat us they can lose final day and still win it even if the scouse win.

Re: West Ham to win 1-0 or 2-1 against City 20-1 on Bet365
No ref is going to want to be the one who 'ruined' the title battle by giving anything controversial against Man City, so I expect us and the remaining sides to play them or Liverpool and any shithousery toward us to be just collateral damage as part of the bigger picture- that being the pursuit of the LAST DAY TITLE DECIDER money spinner for the PL prize.

Think of all the lovely sexy parallels they can pull between now and 2012 if they can get both teams there in a situation where they are as level as possible. Although in all fairness that could play into our hands if it's desirable for Man City to drop three points. Certainly Liverpool needing two wins regardless will get all the external help they need on Tuesday and next weekend.

Much depends upon who the ref will be. Hopefully we have had our fill of Dean and Moss will have no future games having been jeered off of the midweek match. Tierney last night made a crap decision which awarded the spuds 3 points so who is considered to be a top ref and generally fair?

Take away the Naaarwich result and we are struggling to score and keep conceding.

Ake is only just back from injury and I think Pep would rather not have had to use him, as he could break down any moment, after being rushed back, so it's worth getting right in his face.

This is set up for us to play our game, which is defensively solid first and foremost, which we are usually excellent at, and then break like fuck whenever we get the chance. This is the area we're never sure which West Ham will turn up.

As far as games against City go, this is very winnable, even if they could just as well put five past us again.

I'm looking forward to this one.

Whoever thought Nathan Ake was a Manchester City quality defender? Suppose it don't matter when money is no object

Pity poor City. Down to their last £50 million centre back. How will they cope?

Re: West Ham to win 1-0 or 2-1 against City 20-1 on Bet365
Looks like they have zero options apart from Ake in central defence.

Dias
Stones
Laporte
Fernandinho

All out

Walker also out

If we can get the ball off them, we could have some joy from set pieces and also with the pace and power of Antonio and Bowen. Got to get the ball first, though....

Would love it if we could sneak a win here. Would guarantee 7th and we only need to match Man U on the last day to finish above them. Also City losing to us doesn't hurt them re: the title so everyone is a winner.

Go toe to toe

We lose 3-6

Nobes gets the third from the spot in the 95th minute after Sterling dribbles past his own full back and deliberately picks the ball up in the area.

Itll be part of The Rice Deal.

As in The Carrick Deal from days of yore.
