Q: 2022 Summer Transfer Window - How many 1st team players will we sign before August 6th
a. None as Sullivan will wait until the last week before he gets his scattergun out the cupboard
b. A couple of freebies paraded as superstars, usual hype to follow
c. I'm more optimistic as surely they know we need to strengthen, 3-4 with decent money spent.
d. Who gives a toss as we have a great squad already, I've already ordered the new replica kit, socks and all and can't wait to wear it at our first game, down the pub of course, I bleed claret & blue

Re: Phil Bennett
According to Welsh rugby journalist Peter Jackson, he was offered a trial during the time of Moore, Peters and Hurst, but the idea of living so far from his village fill him with horror and he turned it down.

Re: Phil Bennett
I grew up in Porthcawl where many of the greats of the 70s lived. I'd see them all around town and it was just normal. The Welsh number 8 was our window cleaner, and I'd pass Gareth Edwards every day as I walked to school and he drove to his insurance job. He would always give a wink and a wave.

I didn't get to meet Phil Bennet though, but what an incredible fly half he was. A true gent by all accounts.

Max Boyce explains it very well....
