We hadn't won a league game without Paqueta befor...

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
If Paqueta goes dont expect to see the fee we get spent on new young players. For me it signifies that Sullivan has given up on survival and now is cost recovery and containment mode. We might get a loan or 2 of some old, slow, high experienced at big clubs once, has beens to appease fans but not m...

I rarely had agreement with him but I found his thinking interesting. He did have something to say.
Re: VAR
They are happy enough in the FA cup, Championship.
Its clearly an opportunity for something like advertising or match fixing.

Re: VAR
VAR should be just a technology driven precise decision maker. No extra humans.
crossing the line it works.
in almost all other cases it highlights inconsistency of human nature.

Wills I think any West Ham away crowd will be excellent. The crowd in stadium is huge and has every demographic. Unfortunately too many are polite. That said the polite crowd around where I was eventually showed a bit of support towards the end. I had to move away from my normal place as it was allo...

Re: West Ham vs QPR | FA Cup | 11.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
I met a QPR lad in Crate before the game. He asked a load of questions but when he asked me what I thought the score would be I said we’d score 2 so they’ll need to score 2 or more.
anyway he said there were 15,000 QPR there. Might have been right. I thought they were shit.
