Re: African Cup of Nations

Here’s a novel idea. To stop any indignation over not abiding by rules, play the game again. Or if neither federation can be asked, share the trophy like the Charity Shield used to do.

Re: Joey Barton nicked (AGAIN)

Forget bombing Iran , Merseyside needs to be levelled    So you'd destroy a whole city because you don't like Joey Barton and have issues with middle aged (probably safe to assume, white) men. Yep, your soul is, as previously proved, fucking rotten. But he has a point as scousers are proper scum as...

Re: Everton striker Barry

If he didn’t see that coming, he’s an idiot.

They’re a bit like us and not the most forgiving fanbase, so he’ll be in for some stick.

Nice to know some wanker Arsenal fans got a slap though.

Re: West Ham vs Man City | PL | 14.3.26 | Predictions & Match Thread

I’m extremely happy with that point. I don’t like watching us defend because our manager lacks confidence to go at the opposition (it’s not Nuno’s DNA), but losing Summerville to injury and considering the opposition, it was an amazing point and a fantastic performance.  Out of the relegation zone, ...

Re: West Ham vs Man City | PL | 14.3.26 | Predictions & Match Thread

We’ve played some good ball in behind their defence but pace has been the difference being able to make the best of it.

I’m certainly not unimpressed by our approach.

Re: The Millwall Promotion Thread

What does this say about us? We hate Tottenham and want them relegated. We hate Millwall but want them promoted.  It says that we want to play our biggest rivals. And we don't want our biggest rivals, Millwall, to get relegated when they come up like we do Tottenham? I don’t like Spurs and would la...

Re: The Millwall Promotion Thread

Hopefully we stay up and they come up. They’ve done very well of late and actually deserve a season in the prem. in my experience, some of our more recent encounters have been underwhelming.  I’ve been to the last three games between us, and the two in the league were drab. At The Den, boring 0-0 a...

Nailed on away fans bussed into either game, ie, meet at the London Stadium, produce ID, get bussed in a bussed out again after an hour stuck in the stands.

Away allocation to the Den approximately 8 people.

Re: Sp*rs v Palarse

Forrest spurs; we want a draw; or spurs to get hammered?     Considering we’re still favourites to drop, and our next two fixtures are against sides significantly better than us, the expectation is we drop, so in the meantime I want as much misery heaped on Spurs as possible, so a Forest win please...

last 6 games: Leeds have won once (5 pts) Neither Spurs or Forest have won a game. Spurs 2pts Forest 3pts we have 8pts from the last 6. Pablo and Taty are essential to causing havoc among the opposition defence by closing down defenders and midfielders, enabling Bowen and Jimmy more space and time....

I reckon we win five games out of those remaining against Brentford, Everton, Leeds, Wolves and Palace. Would see us comfortably survive.

Re: Bowen is past it

Stubbo, I don’t agree he’s lost a yard of pace. What I’ve noticed is that he cuts in less and spends a considerable amount of time defending, pressing and attempting to win the ball back.  Pablo and Taty create space for him and Summerville by occupying the defenders.  I think we’ve relied far too m...
