Re: West Ham vs Newcastle | PL | 2.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
I like what Chelsea did against spurs, when spurs got a corner Chelsea sent 3 men up front, you could initially see the spurs defenders looking absolutely lost and didn’t have a clue wether to attack the corner or drop back, it obviously worked because spurs didn’t score from a corner. Fancy a coach...

Re: West Ham vs Newcastle | PL | 2.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
Re Sweep earlier, there set pieces were poor, everyone, even the pundits on “match of the day” know we’re shit at corners, long throws etc, but Newcastle failed to deliver the correct ball, now if it had been Arsenal or even Spurs then our centre halves would have been found out. One swallow doesn’t...

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
Wonder what Mr Neville thinks of these people waving the Palestinian flag, hope he comes out against them the same way he did with the British/ English flags being put up.or is he a good old left winger who believes anything British is nasty whilst everyone else is ok.

Evidently in 2024 around 150 prisoners were released by mistake, this year it’s already at around 225, just seems to be getting worse.

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
We had 14 years of mainly Tory incompetence ( they got most of Covid right) now just over a year of Labour incompetence, so basically the majority of politicians are just rank useless but the one common denominator during any government is the civil service, the home office has just been called “ un...

So, as it’s obvious that we will struggle this season are we already looking at the results of the clubs down the bottom hoping they lose to give us a chance of stopping up.

Not disputing your facts but could it be that he’s basically surrounded by dog shit players, apart from Bowen, that anything he’s set up has been waisted by others.

People ask “ what do they do in training” well you look at our attackers and when their in training against our defenders then as their only 5 foot 6 inches the even Kilman looks good but, put him against a six footer then he is absolute gash.

Over the last few games he’s changed e.very players position looking for inspiration except the 2 centre half’s, memo to Nuno, the centre half’s are the main problem.

Even Pep couldn’t get a tune from this squad, 3 managers in a year and we’re still shit, these players, apart from Bowen are championship level, and that’s where they’ll be playing next season.

Back to Gerrards comments, it’s was probably only the English press that was calling them the golden generation, the rest of the world were to busy practicing their skills, we probably never won owt because we were just not good enough.

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
Dioufs like the majority of fullbacks nowadays, very good at going forward but a lot of questions over his defensive abilities, even Trent has his doubters, Madrid didn’t buy him for his defensive qualities. It’s fine if your playing for someone like Liverpool, Man City who will have the majority o...

Re: Potter Out
I don’t particularly put all the blame on Potter, although he doesn’t seem to help himself at times, but the whole club from top to bottom must be absolutely dire. Look at clubs like Brentford, Brighton, Palace,Bournemouth and Fulham, they can all compete and are all classed as stable premiership cl...

Didn’t any of the scouts etc actually notice how shit he is at corners, afraid whipping corners into the six yard box is the new tactic, and now everyone in the premiership knows how crap we are at defending them.

Re: Grimsby fined for fielding an ineligible player in win over Man Utd
To be honest I think the said player was a Manure spy, although he was registered 2 minutes late, when it came to the penalty shootout he was the only Grimsby player to actually miss, in mitigation Grimsby did flag this error up to the league themselves.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
I’m not 100% on this but I think if English clubs transfer between themselves then a bigger amount of the fee has to be paid upfront, whereas if it’s from a foreign league then the fee can be spread over more years, maybe this is why clubs seem to want to bring in from abroad rather then the champio...
