Kilman was a huge waste of money. Not sure what he is actually good at. Ageurd was better.

Re: Leicester City vs West Ham | League | 3.12.24 | Official Match Thread

West Ham are fragile defensively and impotent up front. It's a dreadful result so far after dominating a game and really not making much of it.

Re: Leicester City vs West Ham | League | 3.12.24 | Official Match Thread

Ings has carried more threat than Antonio. Unlucky to have chance deflected onto post. Could/should of scored against Arsenal. He is involved. Antonio is a passenger. Never a threat. I'd love someone with genuine movement and finishing but we seen to go for lump it to them types.

Re: Lopetegui

What we are seeing is a big reaction from Chelsea, Liverpool and now Man Utd from having top managers come in. West Ham have had nothing. For all the signings and promises of changing style we still show the same limitations, frailties and have not put together one game where I've thought we dominat...

Re: Can we even play passing football?

When we say “players out of form” is it really players don’t know how to play in a passing system? When these players did well it was a strict counter attack side with very little possession. Seems easy to look good if you don’t actually have to have the ball much! My concern now is that no manager...

Re: Can we even play passing football?

Some of the issues are players and their lack of suitability for the league. Needing too much time on the ball, not used to running for 90 minutes at the pace of the game here. The other issue is tactics. At the start of the season it seemed we were looking to place the ball around quickly and embed...

Re: Nott'm Forest vs West Ham (Away) | 2.11.24 | Official Match Thread

Forest are a good side this season, they have got over their random spending on every spare part player and actually bedded in a side that is defensively good and knows how to nick a goal. This wont be an easy game and Forest are probably favourites on current form. Draw today wouldn't be bad but li...

It's 100% a money spinning thing that has been running for a while. It's acknowledged on government websites (see https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/5eb13050e90e0723bad30a11/geoengineering-position-statement.pdf for example) and in articles published by some of the worlds NGOs. Re: West Ham United vs Spurs (Away) | 19.10.24 | Match Thread

I wasnt too disappointed with the first half as we knew they would pick us off if we left gaps on a counter. We made it difficult although still allowed too many crosses.  Kudus played like an individual. Needed to make better decisions. He's had a shit week and taken the brunt of Ghanas bad perform...

Areola has been absolutely awful. Cant kick, cant save, cant catch.
We need a captain. This is total collapse.

Re: Spurs Away | Predictions and lineup

Our weakness is being counter attacked on. If we let them do that they will punish us because their players love time and space to run at defences. Basically we need to grind this game out, kick them, make it scrappy and if they continue playing a high line then drop balls in behind. Van der Ven is ...

Bellingham big ego and not the performances to match. Thought the whole defense and midfield were rubbish. Never seen Rice so bad. Miles off the pace and too much day dreaming. This whole nation league thing is a joke though. Who cares what group we are in. More caps for players who dont deserve the...

Re: West Ham vs Ipswich Town (Home) | 5.10.24 | Match Thread

Something to build on, I thought the 1st half an hour we were poor especially Paqueta but he got some sort of knock and after that improved alot. Like the look of the centre half pairing. Good to see Bowen and Kudus approaching their best. And fair play to Antonio he kept working and was involved i...

Re: West Ham vs Ipswich Town (Home) | 5.10.24 | Match Thread

I'm sure there will be plenty of 'it's only Ipswich' and not recognise that actually this was a side under massive pressure to get a result and it did so very comfortably. Ipswich may not have the same quality but they work hard and you have to match or beat that. I think we did. Still some work to ...

Not in good enough form and he's not a youngster anymore so unless on top form will always be be a fringe England player at best. I'm actually pleased he isn't involved, reduces risk of injury and can focus on working out how our captain and team can improve.

Re: West Ham Vs Brentford (A) | Match.Thread | 28.9.24

Has anyone seen anything at all from Soler to suggest he's the answer  to any question?   Certainly not had the impact I hoped. What I have noticed is he is good at finding pockets of space to be available for a pass.  There is a certain football intelligence there and he's not a slouch but in a te...

Cottee is a fucking flip flopper talking bollocks. He was one of the biggest advocates of getting rid of Moyes. He was one of the only so called ex-pro's / pundits who actually understood the Moyes situation and said that he had to go for the club to move forward. Now he says we would've been bette...

There are some good and bad in our performances.    What good have you seen in our performances? A willingness to try and pass the ball more and quicker, more possession and more shots on goal. More players comfortable on the ball and willing to commit a player. No we are not a slick passing, domi...

At least we are as good as Bolton - just. Fabianski pulled off some great saves too. Could have been more against a second string Liverpool side. I have to ask what the fuck are they doing in training. Decide on a system and drill it into them. Goals are gifted with really poor decisions and positio...

Re: Liverpool Vs West Ham | Carabao Cup | Match Thread | 25.9.24

Communication and understanding is a problem. Kilman plays Jota onside for the goal for some reason. Everyone else is in line. Just a poor decision.  Few times we have showed a lack of understanding which is to be expected but frustrating. I dont think we are terrible and we have stuck a few decent ...

I'm not going to entertain any "Lop-out" bandwagon yet. I predicted this might be a season of struggle to try and get away from the Moyes philosophy. New manager, new players, new style, it does not happen overnight. We wanted this change, we need to knuckle down, get behind it and have a...

Our great transfer window not looking so great Summerville looked ok. But we lack pace and have for years. Loppy is another older previous era manager. We need to modernise and didnt it would seem   There was a lot of noise about our great transfer window.  But I remember talking to a few neutrals ...
