Re: Wolves vs West Ham | Carabao Cup 2nd Round | 26.8.25 | Match Thread
Wolves fans also seem unhappy about their owners most of the time but they do manage to do a good job with player recruitment. Players Wolves have sold over recent recent years: Neves £47 m Nunes £53 m Neto £54 m Kilman £40 m Ait-Nouri £31 Cunha £62 m And possibly Larsen (who was linked with us last...

Re: David Moyes
The best of Moyes at West Ham was when he had Alan Irvine beside him. Once Irvine left it went to pieces.

Re: Sullivan out!
Another fine takedown of the little man in today's Observer: "Somewhere in the middle of this, David Sullivan largely seems to avoid the consequences of his actions, but this is his mess far more than anyone else’s. The pint-sized ex-porn lord is chair, largest shareholder (39%), de facto direc...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
The video that is elsewhere on this page points out we could lose £200m this year and still not be in PSR trouble As mentioned we have shifted a bunch of players some of whom like Fabianski , Ings & Antonio would have been on much higher wages than the incoming Shifting Alvarez for wages space ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
You are 100% wrong about the Premier League not being an attractive investment proposition. Club valuations will only increase over time as more is squeezed out of media rights – which may include the PL setting up its own TV channel with direct subscription. Although it’s true that owners cannot bu...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Like other clubs, Forest generated a big profit on player sales in 2023/24 - Johnson and a few others. Gave them quite a lot of PSR headroom. Plus they probably have more ambitious owners to ensure cash flow is not a problem

Re: Brady on Talksport this morning
It may have been the 'deal of the century' as far as the rental payment is concerned but the arrangement plus the stadium design place severe restrictions on the revenues that drive how much the club can spend on wages and transfers. Although 2nd in the Premier League by attendance, West Ham are 8th...
