These draws are no good to us. Unfortunately we are lumbered with a manager who doesn’t have the courage to send out a team to ‘go for it’.  We’re at the stage where we have to take a few risks in order to get some wins.  The trouble is don’t think he has the bollocks for it.

Kante? He's even worse than Magassa. You clearly didn't watch the abomination of the Burton performance then with those two clowns supposedly being our central midfield.

They are both awful footballers. Kante gets a bit of a pass as we picked him up as a youth for next to nothing. But these idiots shelled out nearly £30 million for Magassa. A total waste of money and ridiculous signing given he is an awful footballer.

I don’t think Magassa is as bad as some say, he’s a bit raw but he is showing signs of settling in. The young kid that came on for him is another that needs more playing time Kante, he could end up becoming A player for us.

Mavro took his time but he’s been playing well lately. The young keeper, Fernandez and Summerville are thriving under Nuno. Diouff is becoming a key player for us as is Taty.

Bowen’s form has dropped off a bit but he’ll come good.

Bournemouths defense were pretty solid got some nice crucial tackles in today, it wasn’t all about missed chances.

We had the chances second half but ultimately fluffed out lines once more

Bowen would be the player you would put your money on to score when given a gilt edged opportunity but it wasn't to be.

Taty had another but his first touch belonged in the ryman league not premier.

He is lauded for his workrate but that won't keep us up and his goal ratio certainly won't.

Magassa showed his class with a high wide and mighty effort that would not be out of place at Twickenham and was generally poor throughout.

He is another one who runs about a lot but produces very little..

These two players along with many many others throughout this boards recent tenure are simply not good enough and we have continually been short changed in the recruitment stakes.

I feel for the likes of Bowen and Soucek and a few others who continue to give there all and obviously care about the club.

It's like being at work where you are knocking your pipe out but HR keep hiring people who are clueless to replace solid characters.

A shambles of a football club.

If we do go down it won’t be because of this game. Bournemouth are a good team and in form. We probably do need to get an unexpected win out of the bag somewhere, though.

Two teams in the PL are unbeaten in their last six league games they being ManU and Bournemouth. In our quest to avoid relegation we have drawn with both teams during their runs. Those games would earlier in the season have been defeats so maybe it’s two points gained rather than being lost. Notwithstanding that our perk up in form looks to be too late in the day to save us by our own efforts alone.

On a positive note we managed a clean sheet against a good team in good form.

By "no product" I thought his passing could have been  better and his shooting was awful.  I liked the way he got about the pitch though (the good engine comment)

9 time out of 10 that game today goes out way. Just it wouldn't run for us today. On to the next one.
There is clearly a huge margin for improvement with Magassa. I haven't disliked what I've seen so far. He ain't anywhere near the finished article but he has shown promise on a few occasions.

He's trying to adapt to a quicker league in a struggling team... it's a bit harsh to dig him out considering he was parachuted in at the last possible moment due to the absolute shit show created by the Brady/Sullivan stand off regarding the Potter appointment.

Agree, I was at the game and thought he was excellent, he's also a clever player, did a lovely turn and left a Bournemouth on the deck.

0-0 was about right
Neither team created enough to win it and when we did get in scoring positions put everything miles over the bar.
We defend balls into the box much better these days from corners, free kicks & their endless long throws
Diouf I thought was outstanding winning the ball back, blocking & endless running
Bowen, Summerville & Fernandes who we rely on for that bit of winning magic not really on it tonight
As said at h/t their passing , ball retention & movement was superior. We just gave the ball away when in decent positions

On to Liverpool, it’s about time we won there isn’t it?

It’ll soon get to the point where we will have to stop looking at the opponent and win no matter who it is, wether it’s  an in form side or not.

Thought we were pretty comfortable against the form team of the division which we seem to get every week at the moment. Should have won that but you aint gonna win if your best player doesnt turn up and Bowen was pretty bad today by his standards.
I thought the ref was straight up apalling and that didn't help either. Lacking bench options and regardless of what some think, missing Pablo and his energy. How did we not get a pen in the first three mins from that corner? Baffling.

A bit deflating but a heavy defeat for Forest and Spurs would cheer me up again. A long way to go yet.

soucek has been much better but was at hia woeful worst today.  Magassa good engine but no product, bowen not goos today either.

However, mavropanos is a different player now that fist kilman is nowhere near him.

Passing was appalling, quite cowardly a lot of the time

They were all having a go at giving it away, Soucek unsurprisingly being the worst culprit. He was piss poor tonight trying to force the issue too much. When he deserves the plaudits for his MotM performance against Man Utd, he also deserves stick for a shit performance tonight.

Too many underperforming tonight when we needed them.  Bowen in particular who had his worst game of the season.  Summerville not in the game enough. Fernandes too deep.   Soucek one of those games where you wonder how he’s a pro footballer.
It was like we were so desperate for the clean sheet that we were passive when 3 points were vital tonight.

there’s a case for bringing him on to sit in front of the defence and protect a lead but that’s it.

Wow, he has been running his socks off and had a great game tbf

Not doubting his engine or effort and that’s why I think there’s a place for him if we’re trying to hold on at the end. He offers nothing with the ball at his feet though.

The main issue though was that he took the place of a second striker which is what we desperately needed

I really thought he would go 5 at the back today. Some big calls being made at last. Mavvers and Dizzy keeping Todibo out. Kilman is so gone, he's nowhere near the first 11 now, and herman is No1. Lucas who? Its like night and day from 6 weeks ago. And no sign of adama the walking arse.

Has to be paco.
