Re: Mohamadou Kante
He's a good young player and has been playing well in the stiffs for ages. He didn't play well at Burton, but those (thankfully few) who jumped on his back after one game were the usual "sofa perfectionists".
Glad he put in a good performance last night. He has talent and we need to keep developing it. That's what clubs like ours should do. We're seeing the same with Potts. Give the kid some time. Doesn't have to be a first choice immediately, but we are allowed to nurture players before writing them off.

Re: Mohamadou Kante
Saw him against burton and didn’t think we’d see much of him again to be honest but thought he played well last night I must admit

Re: Mohamadou Kante
He looked decent last night
Similar build, and wears a similar wrist strap to Kouyate - thought i had gone back in time for a moment!
Lets hope to see more opportunities for him

Re: Mohamadou Kante
Must confess early on I wondered what Kante and Traore actually gave to the team. Just really saw them both on the edges of the game and Kante just seemed to meander without purpose. Then Kante hit this superb driven pass to a team mates feet and it was a case of um hello. He then started to grow into it then Discoveryplus went down. Got it back late on in time to see an absolute disaster show from Magassa who I assume came on for Kante. The performances were night and day. Many are praising him so he must have had a good second half. Reminds me of a Kouyate/Diame type so hope he continues to improve.

Re: Mohamadou Kante
Fair play to he lad. taking his chance.
Also credit to Nuno who does not shy away from giving the youth a chance.

Re: Mohamadou Kante
Liked the way he moved to close people down
Is quite rapid for a big lad
Think it was him that crunched Henderson right on half time
Excellent !

Still a bit inconsistent but improving every time I see him. Not sure what his actual position is though, seems to do a job wherever he's put.
8/B2B, a natural successor to big Tomas once he moves on

Re: Mohamadou Kante
I've liked the look of him in friendlies, but let's face it, if he couldn't break into the first team at Stevenage in the first half of this season then he probably just isn't up to it at this level, right now at least.
Re: Mohamadou Kante
Nope, Kante and Potts ahead of him. He couldn't break into the Stevenage team so probably needs to go down the loan route like Potts to build up experience before getting a crack here.
Re: Mohamadou Kante
Quietly excited about this lad, if over the next 18 months he can find consistency and a bit of improvement we could have a very good Premier league player on our hands. Fair play to Nuno he has given a few of the youths a go. I hope they take their chance

Re: Mohamadou Kante
Very good tonight. Let’s not jump the gun and put too much on his shoulders just yet though. He’s young. He will have good games and shit games while he’s learning.
