City will be deflated you would think, if that makes them angry or harder to get a point or even 3 from then fuck knows.

Our record against them if abysmal to say the least and about time we got something and a slice of luck, surely if Forest can do it at their place, then we can at home, they have been upset a few times this season and so i hope we go out and have a real go, show no respect, they may have lost 3-0 to RM but won't be the first time such a margin has been overturned, FWIW they will have an eye on next week's return leg and it may well be to our benefit.

Fingers crossed.

They still have an outside chance of the league, so can't see them easing up in the weekend game no matter the result tonight.
But if they get it to 3-2 they might rest our nemesis Haaland

Not AWOL tonight ferretspur?

Think Nuno will go 5 at the back, no way can he drop Mav after Monday. I'd like to see Kante start but don't think it will happen;

              HERMANSEN
AWB  MAV  DISASI  TODIBO  DIOUF
         SOUCEK  FERNANDES
            BOWEN     TATY
                 FELIPE/WILSON

Summerville having a knock for City and Villa, missing international duty, and coming back rested for the run-in might not be the worst thing to happen. Certainly would rather he stayed healthy. We're going to be in quite a spot of bother if it's any longer than that.

As an aside and opinions and all that but even though Taty has scored 3 headed goals, he is not anywhere near as effective for the overall team as Pablo who has yet to net?

He makes some touches and passes here and there but generally on the periphery of the game? Perhaps since he’s been up top centrally alone is the issue? Maybe just perception and stats say different?

Dont get me wrong he starts because we dont have a decent alternative but the “young athletic carthorse” that is Pablo really helps us with his pressing and physical presence even if he is awaiting delivery of a banjo with which to hit a cows arse

It was mentioned on the commentary on Monday that we've banned Traore from lifting weights 🤣

Could Taty play left with Pablo up front in a 4-3-3?

Soucek, Fernandes and one of Potts, Magassa or Kante behind them.

Far from ideal but injuries are part and parcel and we have had a good run in recent times. Just have to hope he is back when they say and he doesn't get the Alan Devonshire flu again.

I'm backing Traore to step up.
