Running a bit late on this one, but I'll keep it brief.  I've a sneaky feeling we beat Villa.  Not overly impressed by them man for man, they've had an away trip in Europe, and it's a lot of travelling.  Plus with the Bonds memorial pagentry, the whole ground should be up for giving someone a kicking.

I'm watching the commentary from ESPN and it's the Argentinian feed in Spanish and they are always pretty succinct and truculent with their observations.

They observed that Summerville has less end product than "un limpias" which roughly translated means the window washers at traffic lights who leave your windscreen dirtier than to begin with!

Best team we’ve played at the bowl. So well coached, strong all over the park.  We need players that can score. Far too reliant on Bowen.

Agree. But the contrast between how we're playing now and we're under Potter is stark. 

I grew up watching us battle between about 8th and relegation, but always felt we were a team worth watching. Playing like we have today and that stands for this team too....

We clearly need attacking options from the bench....but if we get a striker and Adama Traore in in January as sounds likely, might give us a first choice striker and a meaningful bench option.

IMO this has been a good performance by us today regardless the result. Entertaining, decent passages of football, goal threat. Dangerous ball carriers in Summerville and Bowen, academy product in Potts. Decent energy in midfield.

Keep playing like this and we'll win games. They're the best team in the league on form and we've gone toe to toe.

Paqueta’s indiscpline guving them a gift early 2nd half has cost us but we cant keep a clean sheet and are dreadful at home Thats rrlegation form
