The above statement infuriated Republicans who seem to think that they can say what they like but anything said/written  they disagree with leads to the media outlet responsible being attacked with pressure also put upon the company to ban the author/speaker.

This kid came from the heart of a solid Christian, Republican, community it’s undeniable yet telling people that fact is deemed as an abuse of free speech. 

Sacked for telling blatant lies to an impressionable TV audience of which need little excuse to be even more pissed off than they already are on both sides of the political aisle. Spreading such misinformation is extremely dangerous in this current climate about such things and yet divvy Kimmel thought he was being clever to gob off like he normally does thinking he's untouchable on National TV. 

With regards to free speech, he freely used it, no one stopped him saying it. And ABC exercised their right to indefinitely suspend him for breaching his contract by openly lying that's now broadcasted to the world what he said.
