Away at Arsenal...we've won the last two encounters...so are due a shellacking. They've strengthened notably this season, as well as being on form. That said, we'll clearly play on the counter and expect out line up to largely be the same as for Everton.

We’re getting absolutely nowhere with Fullkrug up top. The guy gives us nothing. We don’t half miss Antonio.

we need to make a few changes. bring in Marshall for fullkrug. We will lose this game with the way we are playing. Glad Rice did not Celebrate the goal, a true Gentleman.

Fullkrug offers us absolutely nothing upfront.
Missed an easy chance to put us 1-0 up after just seconds, and has flopped around like a prison ragdoll ever since.
He’s really not very strong for a supposed “big” target man, is he? So far this season, he’s been dominated by every centre half who has played against him.
£27m German international striker? He needs to start looking like it. Wilson looks the better of the two old, injury prone strikers to me.

We're so desperate for a pacy forward who can run the channels and give us an out ball. Fullkrug offers nothing even though he's being held everytime the ball comes to him, but it's just too easy for them

2nd game in against a team that finished second last season, with many young, inexperienced PL players, and being one-nil down at half-time is a disaster.?
Yep. He's still going to need time to work out who's good or not yet. Can't be overly critical in that half under the circumstances.

we're still in it away against the title contenders. Its not great but can we give Nuno more than 1 and a half games to have us competing for Europe? We've spent 3 years becoming this shit we cant just turn it around instantly.

Lucky to get to HT at 0-1.
Time for Nuno to earn his money.

Second to the ball too often and wasteful in the final third.
Hopefully we can hold it till half time and improve second half.

We as a club dont have owners with any long term plan. To build a squad to compete with the best takes time. We tried Zola, Pellegrini, Loppy and Potter to try moving us to a possession based game but without the infrastructure ( players, recruitment etc) and failed. We are back with a style of football that is short term for success but percentage wise with no vision has the best chance of keeping us up.
I dont like it, no one does but at our club, with our owner its about tye best you get.
Dont blame Nuno, blame the owners is my advice

On the plus side, if potter were still in charge, it would be 4-0 and over as a contest. If we can get into the half like this, hopefully we make adjustments and come storming back. Admittedly, that looks like a tall order currently. We were always going to be bunkering for most of this game.

If you’re gonna play this way then you need to be able to get up the pitch but we just can’t do it.
Fullkrug & Paqueta have been invisible.

So much for Nuno saying we have to compete. We have done anything but.
Worse than Moyes.

It's not pretty but got to cut Nuno some slack coming in only a week up against a quality Arsenal side away and still none of his own backroom staff yet.
